Ok, now some time has passed by since the docu came out, and maybe it's just me but I still don't have the answers I was hoping for!

Check here at 4:30 what chiren said, he will answer with his theory!

Maybe he really did answer these questions indirectly on a way that only physicist can understand it and figure it out.

But for me and I think for all other average people he didn't answer shit!

So I call you Chiren to really give a concrete answer to all those questions you said you gonna answer!!!

Let me just type them out again (Some of them he really answered if you watch the docu multiple times but I'm gonna list them anyway so that he can respond to all of them concretely)

What is the origin of mass?
What is the nature of the arrow of time?
Is there a unifying field-theory for all 4 fundamental forces?
why is there more visible matter than antimatter in the universe?
why do we have paradoxical phenomena's such as black holes?
why is the expansion of the universe accelerating?
why do fermions follow the Pauli exclusion principle and bosons don't.

Now it's Chirens turn!

why is there more visible matter than antimatter in the universe? he kind of answered but I didn't get it

why is there more visible matter than antimatter in the universe?

we are made of stuff that is constantly changing between matter and antimatter (some trilion time per sec). so the reason why we dont see so little antimatter in the universe, is that we consist of it. that stuff we called antimatter at the last moment, is now what we call our matter and call the matter of the next moment antimatter again. its all just swinging back and forth between both states...

all what we are is defined as matter and the other stuff is antimatter, but its just the same only at another timestep you may call it. its again the mankinds labeling attitude that makes it hard to understand the stuff ...

I agree with you assessment of the question, and that is what Chiren says.

What he doesn't explain is why antimatter is even observable then, or why the whole universe isn't just a bunch of photons (matter combined with antimatter eliminates charge and mass and comes out in the form of an electromagnetic wave). If we consist of a moment that hasn't yet been eliminated by out antimatter counterpart, then only matter should be observable, and antimatter should never, under no circumstance, be observed... but it is.

His idea is interesting, no doubt, but I don't think it solves our symmetry problems.

hm, i dont really know what makes us able to identify antimatter as such... could you give me a hand!?

Everything is charged the opposite way... electrons are positive, protons are negative, then it's what we would call "antimatter"
hm, that didnt help me much...^^

We "pull" gamma rays apart into matter and antimatter. If electromagnetic waves are just combined matter and antimatter, and if there are equal amounts of matter and antimatter, then everything should be electromagnetic radiation. It isn't, so there's more matter than antimatter.

If Chiren's idea is true, then electromagnetic waves shouldn't be observed, but they are. And since we see electromagentic waves, we can also produce antimatter, which we do. So the problem isn't solved. Unless he comes on here and addresses a misconception I might have, I don't think it's right.

ye, really sad chiren is gaming again. i guess its kind of a frustration, because getting a nobleprice is not as controlable as playing games...;(

ok, so lets see matter and antimatter as what chiren said it is. two identical particles in a different phase of a waveform.

like all waveforms they syncronize locally - as it would be the most energy efficient state.

i guess the energy of the matter, that is produced by the "pulling", is higher than the energy of the gamma ray. so, if this is, there is a need for some extra energy.

this extra energy would be its negatiation - the antimatter that is produced. an identical particle, besides that its the opposite of the waveform.

well, maybe not exactly the opposite of the waveform, because we allready should have some energy, from the gamma ray, but at least in a different phase.

this artificially produced (anti-)particle is completely out of sync from the local waveform field. this is why we can see it as an "alien".

at least this makes some sense in my head...;)

I think I understand what you're saying. It'd be nice if you could rephrase it, but basically it seems you're saying that the antimatter is a "special case" and can be observed only because it is a representation of the energy required to exist from pulling the gamma ray apart. Right? hmm.. I have to think more about this.

ok yeah, its actually quite complex and im not that fluent in english...;) so ill give it another try, no problem:

imagine a lake on a hot summer day, almost no wind and you have only a few very constant waves. even if you throw stones in it, after a minute you will not see any of the distortions anymore - particles that build waves like water tend to sycronize with their neighbors. right?!

ok, so the same would happen with our particles swinging back and forth between matter and antimatter. after a while (and they all had a while) they become synced with their neighbor particles.

so, if now for some reason one of this particles gets dissynced, it wants to get synced again, though it needs to loose energy for that and acts different then its neighbors. this is what we can see, i guess.

did that help you?

this could even be a reason for gravity. particles getting syncronized need to get rid of some energy, so they convert it to velocity.

but this is highly hypothetical - just wanted to mind it...;)

"why is the expansion of the universe exhilarating?"

I know English isn't your first language, but the last word should be "accelerating". The expansion is continually speeding up.

corrected it! that was embarrassing xD

dealing with trolls

yesterday it was the eurovision song contest.I went into a newspapers internett site (dagbladet if anyone is interested) and saw they had a forum for discussing the results (the results where coming in at the time). much of the forum was covered with the comments of two people, both trolls, one in norwegian and one in english. they where claiming that norway lost because we sent an immigrant to the finals (the guy was born in Iran but came to norway when he was just over 1 yrs old), and other…See More
