A lot of people are afraid of actually being schizophrenic, while it's just there different emotions talking.
Schizophrenia is when these emotions aren't communicating with each other.

An interesting story you have here ..
Must be hard growing up among drunken people. It's a great achievement you handled it so well.
One who holds this kinda life-knowledge shall feel home on I-power.

Permalink Reply by Alex Boerger on January 23, 2012 at 8:12pm an example from germany is stuttgart21, there where protest against an totally underground mainstation, that would cost more than 10billion € and there where many signs of corruption. There where protesters in all ages and the police had to stop the protests.
This was an perfect example of a double bind.
The policemen have to protect the people from threats, but they became a threat for the people themselves.
They have to stop criminals but they get orders from people who are under suspicion to be criminals.
How would you act?
- I'm happy that many policemen decided to sign a petition to stop this madness.
My biggest Double Bind is Money
I don´t like money as we use it (all money is debt) but i have no alternative. I can't say, i have something better. I have to use money. If you ask a banker "how does money work?" you don´t get an answer and if you find someone who knows it, he will tell you "It doesn't".
To find an answer i stood in front of the german stock exchange and the ecb for two days and the only answer i got after questioning hard was "It doen't, if we are lucky we will get a hyperinflation." I even met a reporter, who new a lot about the problem told me, he can't tell the public, because he is afraid of riots.
"How does money work"
---
The problem:
You always need new money, to pay old dept. So there is more and more money out there. On the other hand, we are creating stuff. So there are also more goods and you can achieve this by extraction of resources (Oil), by a higher productivity (Robots) or working harder (more hours) . If the goods are growing as fast as the money, everything is fine. But we run into a problem. We run out of resources, we run out of productivityboosts (the computer helped a lot in the last years, but the effect is declining and we can't work harder (Burnout).
Today the money is growing faster than the goods, so goods will get more expensive and we run into an inflation.
----
Think about it. If you are born in Germany (One of the wealthiest counties) today, you start with a debt of 25000€ and you haven't done anything. (thats the reason why babies cry ;)
I have to act different from what i believe. I have to earn money to do stuff i want to do, but i don't like money.
