Scientific Research & Self-Development Activism
Hey guys,
I'm editing a short documentary about sharecraft's success, including what the event was for, it's impact on the charity and it's impact on the community including on public opinion of gamers and perhaps a little bit about my own sub fund-raiser (which raised $205!) but I might leave it out in case people see the film as just a way for me to plug my own website (even though there would be no point in terms of what people usually hate as there are no ads on my site...)
Anyway, I already got permission off Reese to use any content off the AtheneWins channel but I was wondering if anyone could get me in contact to ask him to fileshare with me a few videos without the music on top of them. I obviously understand why the music is there, I just want to use different music or edit the videos up and the music is sometimes hard to get around in the editing process.
If nothing comes of this, that's expected to be honest xD but it's worth trying. If anything does become of this work then maybe in future I could release an updated version if Reese found the documentary and sent me the stuff I needed post release. To save bandwidth, I don't even need the raw video really, just the audio so ripping the raw audio and filesharing that would be awesome too.
I realise I'm asking a lot xD No harm in asking ^_^
Sorry for my lack of participation on the forums recently, been busy with work :( I DID get to see the Dalai Lama a while ago though xD

I emailed him this morning at like 7am and he emailed me back with some of the files I asked for before 12 noon while I was asleep!
Here is a sneaky peek at some of the script from scene 1 while this is on the front page ;)
"East Africa has always been the symbol of poverty in our world. We are shown pictures of children sick, hungry and dying so we feel guilty and give certain charities our money and hope it's put to good use, without really knowing if we are making a difference. The intention of this film, although it will show images that viewers may find upsetting, is to dispel this myth about charities not making a difference and reinforce the message that giving is not only rewarding, but doesn't need to be something that gets in the way of our everyday lives."
