Okay...

Firstly I want to mention I don't really like doing introductions about myself.  I've always skipped this sort of thing whether it is a post like this or when making a profile page for myself on any website.  I guess its a confidence thing really (probably lacking a bit of self image/value too)  but I always tend to let it slide and think "I'll just do the profile thing later" knowing I really mean "stuff it, I don't have to do it".  Its true though I don't have to do it but I think It will be good for me.  Its not exactly talking to strangers in person but its a start!

My name is Jesse and I live in New Zealand!!  (Us kiwis tend to be overly proud of being from New Zealand haha!  Well me anyway...)  I'm usually quite a quiet person but am pretty confident once I am among friends. To be honest I don't think I know much about anything, ha!  I guess that why find the internet so interesting, so much information moving so quickly!  Its rather addictive!

Current internet addictions - Nutrition(I've read so many ideas, fad diet shit and different theories I'm not sure what is best anymore, ha!). Oh and Jacque Fresco videos!

I finished High School 4 years ago then got a diploma in Exercise Prescription.  Unemployed at the moment, going backpacking overseas shortly.  Likes - Friends, family, movies, going to the beach, tramping/hiking, being barefoot, music, contrast showers, and the occasional party (piss up :P).  Blah blah...

I found the I Power Project via Athene's Theory of Everything after a friend recommended it to me.  I have always been into self improvement but have often been a bit slow to give things ago and challenge myself fully.  Time for a big change I feel...  I hope to learn lots from the I Power Community and contribute a little too!  :)

Welcome to I-Power, Jesse!  I think you've found a home here.  :-)

YES, a fellow fan of Jacque Fresco! :D

Welcome bro!

If you ever wanna talk venus project, you know there'll always be someone to reply ;P

What up Jesse.  I spent three months in New Zealand living in Christchurch.  Didn't just stay there though, pretty much saw the whole south island and a tiny bit of the north.  By far the most beautiful place I've ever been too.  Breathtaking.  Glad to hear you have a healthy curiosity.  Jacque Fresco is one of my favorites as well.  I'd say he was at least 100 years before his time.  Any one else really interested in Nikola Tesla as well?  It seems like madness to me that we are not using his insights for free, renewable energy.

uhmm, yes nikola is the greatest person to ever live. When i saw the movie, "the magician," I had no idea it was one big metaphor for: "hey, everyone, someone got shut down in the name of money, and u weren't even paying attention." hmm, I believe The Westinghouse group are the ones who shut him down. -that's what my teacher said.... this topic deserves its own blog.

"...this topic deserves its own blog."

I agree -- although blog entries are not very well suited for discussions and Forum post would work better. The Physics Forum here would be appropriate for energy-related discussions, I think.  Perhaps one of you could start one?  I've read a little bit about Tesla in the past, but I would love to know more. And I've also been hearing that we are on the verge {3-5 years?} of a "solar revolution" because of recent tech advancements.

.

I'd try to keep the conspiracy stuff minimized if I were you, though.  While I do believe that some of the larger corporations out there do indeed have a profit-interest in controlling our access to energy sources, it is a very hard thing to prove that there is some kind of massive conspiracy going on to keep existing technology a secret and inaccessible to the public.  Most of us know that secrets are a very difficult thing to keep even in small groups; so as soon as you start using the word "conspiracy"... you lose some of your potential audience, and also invite a political debate that often sidetracks people away from any productive discussion of the subject itself.

.

One of our members posted this link in chat yesterday btw, which looked very interesting.   I haven't had the time to check it out in any detail yet, though.

I'll take on the challenge.  Give me a couple days to do some research on it.  I agree.  Presenting the facts objectively would be better than making the claim that we would have flying cars by now if we only listened to Tesla.  I'm on it.

Holy diver.  My Nikola Tesla research is taking me all over the map.  There are some far out claims out there, and some very interesting links between Tesla's breakthroughs and the Great Pyramid of Giza.  It's funny.  My mission was to uncover facts about Tesla and I've spent more time looking into the Great Pyramids.  Interesting stuff though.  I'll post my findings soon!

Cool - Glad you liked NZ.  Some amazing scenery here.

I don't know much about Tesla.  I might do some reading on him.  As for Jacque Fresco, I think he is brilliant!

and now i`m also watching jacque fresco :)
