Wow, what I found today was really a HUGE surprise for me and I still don't know why I couldn't have found that doku earlier.

It pretty much sums up all the research I have done myself when I was an Atheist but wanted to know whether it's worth to investigate the question of god through direct experience, and whether I can find any indications which would encourage me to go on this quest.

Even though this docu sometimes makes interpretations and makes these interpretations look like facts, please see, that these are just the conclusions to which the makers of that docu came, and come to your own conclusions.

I know that most of the people here won't even be able to watch that docu to the point where they start to talk about yoga, because they will click it off quite early.
But for those who watch though it, I would love to know what you think about it.

Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9v_Gni-5KSc
Part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTpe1BqHoCE
Part 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxR0DV_Ug24

(No, they do NOT talk about esoteric stuff, nor do they claim to be scientific, they are just pointing out indications, and interpret scienfic facs on their own way which is completely legitimate!
Even if not, that's why I posted this as Off-Topic, so that noone complains)

Nice series, Arjuna.  {yes I watched the whole thing. heh}

I think that some of the reasoning that they used was occasionally flawed; but they also made some good points in the videos, as well.  I especially liked part 3 where they described living beings as being akin to complex machines and pointed out some of the flaws in the "theory of evolution".  ;-)

I have always been a big proponent of the idea that consciousness is the key to understanding the material universe; and that there is very likely a type of consciousness which exists that is much larger and more complex than our own.  {God?}  This idea is what caused me to finally join I-Power after Reese & Chiren released their "Theory of Everything".  I had hoped at the time, and still believe, that they were "onto something" with what they were proposing; and I was a little disappointed that it wasn't very well-received, and that they seem to have abandoned the project because of the opposition to it that they encountered.

On a more personal note - you have probably forgotten that I was one of your original fans since we have had a couple of disagreements over the course of the last year concerning "inappropriate" content;  but you could probably refresh your memory a little by reading the comments that I made on this vlog of yours from last March:  http://ipowerproject.com/video/4-science-and-religion

Peace!  ;-)

Nice comment!

I like you shiz, it's nothing personal, just the policy... you know what i mean ;)

luv ya  :)

These videos brought back my belief in God. I was agnostic for awhile, but after watching this series I feel that there most likely is a being or a group of beings that are responsible for the creation of this universe with all its complexity.

Just imagine how the powerful the thought processes must be in order to keep everything in check. Consciousness never fully goes to sleep. All the time there is at least some one who is awake and keeping sure the city does not go into chaos.

Consciousness is like reverse entropy.

I've been an Atheist since middle school with some religious phases along the way so I have a fairly colored opinion of the supernatural. Though my aunt got me into yoga in 2009 and I have been doing it religiously since then. At first I was more interested in the physiology of it but after doing it for awhile I have noticed it calms me down considerably and I always feel better after doing it.

I haven't watched the videos yet as I have been pretty busy lately but this is definitely something I'd be interested in.
