Yo guys!

I've got a problem, I'm horrified about putting my vision into practice, like i think of something cool like make a movie or write a book, my thoughts just think of all the negative things that are going to happen. This can be so simple from sharpening my pencil in the middle of class or joining a club. I think im just to scared of the outcomes or what everyone else will think. My mind is broken and I need training/help on how to ignore these thoughts. Please leave a comment or anything really, thanks guys.

thanks alot for the advice, because i seriously didn't know how to handle this
I look at it this way.. you've got two choices... do it, or don't do it. If you don't do it, your life will definitely continue to suck. If you do it, then you've at least got the chance that your life will improve.

Makes "doing it" easier :P
Thanks a lot Vinay, I think the choice there is definitely do it.
Thanks alot for all the reply's everyone! I started this discussion only like an hour and a half ago, and I got so many replys from people I don't even know. Made me realize that there are people out there who do care
Hey maybe your mind isn't broken, after all it's normal to weigh the pros and cons of a project, and I think it's better to consider the negative things, even longly, than to blindly go for it and get bad surprises on the way, which could demotivate you also.

However! If you do come to the conclusion ,for example, that the pencil needs some sharpening, and that overall the risks of damaging yourself are minimal, compared with the satisfaction of writing more elegant, sharper, thiner lines (mmhh) then definetly GO for it !
I feel I'm in the same situation. Althought I want to change my appearance(nothing radical, just haircolor and clothing) and not my activites, it's kind of the same thing.

Here is my shot at what's keeping us

Because we are so afraid of what people might think of us, we just don't do it. This effect is human and is known in the psycological and philosofical terms as resistance.

How I think this will be solved

By exercising the ability to not care what other people think of you. This applies to the very same thing. You see, the more comfortable you feel, the more people will think you are the one you should/could be. So if you walk around uncertain of what the surrounding people might think of you, worrying, the less attractive/postive respons you will get.

Conclusion is

Try once just to be proud and realise that what you do defines you. If the definition is what you want it to be, don't be afraid to be judged or reviewed by others. In fact, as you do so, you will realise that you become exactly what you aimed for, and whoops, problem solved.
thanks a lot gustav, i'll try giving this a try tomarrow!
Life is a lreaning experience, the more you try it, the more you learn from your failures and the better you become.
The only 100% guaranteed way that you will fail if you give up because you are afraid that you will fail.
Trying will not guarantee it that you will be successfull, but there is far better chance to be successfull compared by giving up.

And also I am wondering, why are you scaring yourself with what might go wrong? Why scare yourself with things that are just imaginary? ;-)
i used to have that problem to. you just have to say fuck it, im going to do what i want to do. if youre always worried about what they think can you ever be yourself? who are you now? are you them?

just do it.
