Hello all!

I have recently been accepted onto my university course at The University of Kent to study Politics & International Relations. I'm definately excited about it all, and I will be living at the University so I will finally be moving away from home and be living in shared accomodation. Finally I will be able to be more independant and become more involved in a variety of Ipower projects which I was unable to do beforehand.

I also come here to ask for any advice that you wish you would have known when you were about to start university, or anything you could tell your younger self. Personally I've already decided I want to radically change/develop myself into a better person - mentally and physically.

My course starts on the 27th of september, hopefully meaning that the new I Power project will just be about to start/ recently started allowing me to become fully involved in that too!

Have fun, there is more then just the lessons :-)

And good luck, of course!
University is the best time you will ever have!

Enjoy it to your fullest and not only the studying the socializing part is equally important to learn how to deal with people you work with.

Some moments is very very hard working to get through the exam's
Just one warning, realize that it is impossible to go through the material to study when you wait too long to take up the books. You probably learn in 6 months everything you have learned about mathematics in the last 6 years. It is impossible to process this amount of information when you start learning the day before for your exam.
First of all congratulations, going to college its a nice achievement
now what you have to do is to study to stay there, remember also to have fun
but also read/study , because it's a big change between hs and university.
P.s: it sounds very cool to live in the school, make lot of friends/contacts because
they could be nice with you in the future :)
Congrats. First year is always fun, new friends, party and so on. You will face it. Good luck

I am on 2nd Year but different subject

"Interesting points. I just want to clarify that I didn't mean that society gets all the blame in these scenarios. In my opinion, in some of these cases, there is a shared blame. Maybe referring to society as a whole was too much of a…"
