People often say that "you need to do your best so succeed" and i approve that, but like most of you i know that i shouldn't try TOO HARD, but in order to do my best you have to try hard, do it hard, be... hard :P. I want you guys to discuss how can you avoid trying TOO hard and how to succeed at life in general :D.
Permalink Reply by The Shiznit on December 4, 2011 at 8:17pm Success, like happiness, is somewhat ambiguous in that it is wide-open for personal interpretation & definition. How much effort is required to be successful will depend entirely upon what goals you have established for yourself. So, for example, if you're 15 years old and you want to play football, then your initial goal might be to simply "make the team" at your High School. If you were athletic enough to qualify then you could rightfully consider yourself to have been successful; and if you were already in good physical condition it may not have even required very much effort. If, on the other hand, you want to be a better football player than Brett Favre... well, that's going to require a lot more of your time and energy, and you're going to have to throw a hell of a lot of footballs! LOL
