I-Power is an activism group at it's core, and I'm just curious... What is your cause? What is it that moves you to change the world or yourself? What matters to you? Is it world hunger? Freedom? Literacy? Health? Disease?

What is important to You?

For me a free and open Internet is important, but I'm also active in patent reform, open source software, closing the digital divide, and several other IT related topics (I'm a nerd so sue me).

peace, poverty and the balance of power

I'm really curious what you mean by "the balance of power" Bart, could you explain it to dumb ol me? Are you referring to governmental power?

not only the governmental power, i want to expose all the powers that are affecting society, and i want to be aware of them. The governemt is of course a major player, but there`s also media, education, culture, laws, politicians, religious groups

How do you believe one can expose these powers? Do you have an example of a group doing this?

i would say wikileaks is a good example

Ah, I see. Do you think projects like WikiLeaks are effective at bringing about positive change?

i believe they are effective of bringing out in the open what powers such as governments wants to keep secret, and there comes change from that. I do not know if the change is positive.

My mission statement

btw I'm suing you for being a nerd :3

That is awesome. Bookmarked.

wow thanks :D

Don't sue me.. I'm broke. :P

Peace and happiness are my motivation :)

"I agree with the principle to an extent. However, in the case of school shooters, I don't think it can be justified. Same with rape. There's definitely a line, but like you said, those are the most extreme cases. On the topic of mass…"
