Eating other living beings is part of nature. Animals and plants are both alive you know.

No intent to troll here, just trying to start some debate on this inactive group.

There was once a video by "The Nature of Things" in the mid-90's discussing Factory Farming...using it, I presented the case to my Ethics Class. No one wanted to support businesses that mass-produced chickens, eggs, pigs, and cows. I've searched endlessly for this documentary and then remembered I'd ordered it from CBC TV.

Just recently, I went on a hunt for the Video again, and while I haven't yet come upon it, the very similar and more recent 2008 documentary "Food, Inc." is available at CBC's website. It's the Full Documentary, instead of the trailers you see all over, running for over an hour and a half.

Guaranteed that the Food Inc., documentary will impact the way we tend to think and that there are many things to think about when consciously choosing to live a Healthy lifestyle...

It's awesome that we're able to use the 100th monkey concept, best summed up by Doreen Virtue, in her 1995 book "Eating in the Light"

…“There’s a theory called ‘the hundredth monkey concept,’ which says that when a certain number of us adopt a healthful habit, the whole world becomes ‘weighted’ in that healthful direction. In other words, everyone benefits by that percentage of the population who acts healthfully. Using that hundredth monkey concept, as soon as enough people decide to reduce, drastically reduce, or eliminate animal sources of food in their diet, we will see a tremendous healing of the earth. The earth, just like your body, is very forgiving, and it wants to heal.”

Here's the link to a valuable and interesting resource- the video is worth the time taken to watch!

i just read a book about health and one of the topics was how to take care of your skin.

it says the sun has a very bad influence on ur skin, even if she is not shining a lot. they advice to use sunblock as much as possible.

i was wondering: i like to have a nice tan but if i cannot get into the sun, what would be the healthiest thing (if there is one) to do?

i read about sun tanning: something like a shower u go take in a specialised institute which makes ur skin get a nice brown tan.

and i know there are some creams...

does anyone has an idea if there is a healthy way to have a nice tan?

Hey i answered to every discussion. Apart from nutrition , dont want to start this , it contains too much questions and a full answer would be looong.

People aren't responding much though, Dylan :p
I'll have to come up with some more catchy discussion titles I guess.
