There can be no real Utopia, but a resource based economy comes close. The current monetary is designed to put people into economic slavery by forcing people to succumb to employment in order to feed ourselves. The desire for money is fed by our economy based on scarcity, that is that although we have a surplus of most goods, we don't sell them all because they would be worth considerably less. An economy based solely around enhancing technology could be as close to Utopia as possible. We must first though abolish the monetary system and focus on the equal distribution of resources. Then, we can focus all of our energy into developing technology so we can better the human race. With all human energy focused on enhancing humankind and life, we can lead more fulfilling lives as a species. (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7065205277695921912) you should all watch this, as my ideas make little sense without it, but it is best explained here. Yes, it is long, but it is important.

Gabriel, i'm glad to see my concern for your wellbeing is unwarranted. I totally understand your disappearing for long stretches of time; that happens to me sometimes.

Rspwan, I'm ok, I appreciate the concern. I forgot to mention I have a little problem with online forums, and it's that I often disppear for long stretches of time. Sorry if I left anyone hanging or worried or expecting a new blog post. I tried many times to write a new blog post, but the page would get screwey on me. ;-)

I do live in a pretty bad place, but it's just like any other Third World country, maybe even better than some of the others. It's not a war zone, and I live comfortably, I'm not one of the thousands who worry about how they're gonna live through the week. Those people don't have Internet access, because they're lucky if they have a busted up radio or television, or sometimes even a home. Politicians might be corrupt as hell over here, but the days of dictatorship are over, and it's much harder to be a victim of political persecution now. So again, I very much appreciate the concern, but it was unwarranted.

This post may seem a bit pointless because it doesn't change anything, but i feel the need to express this:

I'm a bit worried about Gabriel Baquero.
He has not been on ipower since june 9, almost two weeks ago.
I am posting this in two of the groups that both me and Gabriel are a member of: "Conspiracy Science" and "The philosophers of the new renaissance".

Maybe i'm overly paranoid, maybe he just has better things to do (if that's the case: good for him).
But where he lives is not a nice place, especially for people with political views such as his.

In Gabriel's own words:
"This is the land from whence I come, a hellish, tropical Wonderland where corruption, impunity, and poverty are rampant."

I believe that responsible education is the best way to get people active and voting. Most people that I come into contact with have no understanding about how our government works and nor do they care.

If this style of goverment is flawed how should it be run? Every goverment is flawed . You can pick apart "the system" brick by brick and re-build it as you see fit. However the person right behide you will do the same thing. I belive that (in the US now) We have the right idea of freedom and equaltiy for all ,but we carrie it out in the worng manner. I see the goverment like a pyramide. The poor make the base of this it and just gets better as you go up. I don't agree that this should be the way we live. Communities in its truest form everyone equal. This to me would be the best form of goverment

I agree with "Gabriel Baquero" Democracy in America is Flawed! This is why the Illuminati is able to control all the aspects of government with under the table money & insider trading etc..

I think we need a congress of like 5,000 people and a presidential position as nothing more than a baby sitting job of financial distribution that is controlled by this new congress that would stick to the constitution as a foundation.

Condemning others to validate ourselves.

I'd like to discuss something that bothers me about people, how often times people condemn others for doing something wrong all the while ignoring their own transgressions. I'm going to use an extreme example of school shooters. Society condemns…See More
