I have nothing but a boast.

Apparently these are all the range in American poet speak. But here's a bit of self development for you:I got a 2:1 in my uni course. Not going to lie, it's not the best; I should have done one better. And ther was this one course that needed the big old first to get on to OR (and here's the big clincher) or, if the submitted piece of writing is good enough, they will consider you to the course. Now, I'm pretty sure they were really happy to take anyone just to fill up numbers, and that may have…See More

I was on a roll...or I guess not...

Today I don't know what I'm going to write about, literally going to wing it. Not expecting a great deal of views, hoping for a little more than last time. No poetry this week, well maybe I'll add one right at the end, just to "be cool", you know. I guess I wanted to talk about hard work. What a strange thing it is. Tbh I've never really noticed that I'm doing hard work until I sit down for lunch one day and I'm perfectly comfortable having a conversation about the fallacy of paradoxes and…See More

Country/State: (eg. Belgium, Florida,...)

About Me:
I am a third year Creative Writing student at Kingston University in London. I enjoy the arts of writing, philosophy, music and film. I read as much of anything I can, but I'm always looking to gain more knowledge; nothing that I know is ever enough for me. I love to play computer games, and the music that I make is for me to play along with.
I am quite disconnected from my family, mainly because I'm quite far away from them for a large portion of the year. I highly value my friends and I feel honour bound to do what I can for any person that considers me as such.
My favourite thing in the world to do, is make DnD characters. I love the ideas that sprout from a good character.
I learn quickly, but I am a master of nothing.
Favorite music:
Grunge - specifically Nirvana.
I like to listen to DnB though when I'm working.
Other favourites include, Hendrix, the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, the Sex Pistols, Oasis and Jeff Buckley.
Favorite movies:
Fight Club, The Big Sleep, The Lady in the Lake, The Quiller Memorandum, North by Northwest, Thunderball, REC, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Reservoir Dogs, L'annee derniere a Marienbad
Favorite books:
My favourite book genre is fantasy fiction: anything that twists and challenges the fabric of reality.
Wittgenstein, and about Wittgenstein. (what can I say, it's near perfect)
Goals/Projects/Aspirations:
Goals:
- I am going to work my balls off to get a first this year.
- Read 7+ books a week by the end of the year (spanning multiple subjects).
- Get a piece of writing published.
- Start a vlog and a youtube channel.
- Apply to the University of Gaming for semester 2012.
- Raise enough money to attend the University of Gaming, if I get accepted.
- Get a song played on the radio.
- Finish the first draft of my novel by the end of 2012.
- Improve spoken French and German, to the point where I can passibly have a conversation in either.

Projects:
- I have a band called 800 Pound Rhino.
- I am currently working on a CCTV documentary: "That the necessity of CCTV in the UK is mearly a falicy to mask the immoral intent of social control." (working title)
- I am working with a number of people to start producing films, namely; a documentary discussing the implications of Wittgensteinian Philosophy, A short comedy, A short sci-fi.
- A crime fiction novel, exploring the themes of what religion really is, drugs, and community.
Relationship Status:
Single

Sup. Thought I'd post some more poetry from my degree course. A little more up beat - nah I'm just kidding. Enjoy:

Aliens have invaded (don’t read aloud)

Hello there anyone who reads this.

I'm still quite busy atm (story writing - big deal), so I thought I'd share some poetry. These three are all from a university module, are "totally objective" and also open to any and all interpretation.

Hope you enjoy.

From that lip, at the top of the wall

He strides down the steps of God,

Wagging his hand into…
