City/Town: (eg. Antwerp, San Francisco,...)

About Me:
I am an attempted actor, blogger, and writer. I am also a lover of honesty and truth. I am also obsessed with the depths of passion in any form -- from a talented surgeon in an operating room to an inventive chef in a kitchen. I am also... well, many other things, (including someone who is terrible at describing them-self).
Favorite music:
I'm all over the map here. I pretty much enjoy anything that comes from an original POV, is expressed creatively, and makes me smile. There was a time when i limited myself to genres, but that's long since passed. I even recently was able to appreciate country music, if you can believe it.
Favorite movies:
Oh wow, looking down from here there certainly are a lot of, "favorite requests" here. One of my prevailing and persistent life philosophies is not to ever pick a favorite -- at anything -- because it will then blind me in further discoveries of what is surely to come after. That being said, I have always loved "The Sandlot" (...The beast), and "The Matrix(es)". "Inception" was also fun, and, "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", has probably been, to date, the catalyst for one of my all time greatest post-movie discussions ever.
Favorite books:
Again with the favorites... I've read the 5 book, "Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy" trilogy at least three times, so that's got to rank up there, (It's also been my muse when it's come to writing my own novel, "Welcome to the Future", or, "WTF", Which I hope to get picked up soon, and which carries important themes that i've seen extended into this website and Athene's work in general. It's my Opus and will hopefully permeate the masses -- as it will be first entertaining, but also, without them realizing it, informative. If i can get it just right that is...) I also really enjoyed the "Dark Tower series", and follow along with the adventures of "Pendergast" In the Lincoln/Child book series.
Goals/Projects/Aspirations:
I want to change the world. I want people to be happy. I beleive in a place where that happiness is derived from within. From the understanding that we are all unique and valuable, and that we have something worthwhile to share with the world. Because talent is not developed overnight, and it is the most important thing mankind can work at (IMHO), I beleive in setting long-term goals for humanity that take into account the necessary freedom for all to be able to pursue these passions, and to permit them the time to work at them how they need to -- I.E. Every day.
I have a Novel I've written which is part of (at least) a trilogy. A Sci/Fi adventure written in our potential future (if we'd never changed our capitalistic ways), that surrounds an inventor and begins on the day he will give up his craft because he'd never made a dent on his world that's helped people realize their potential. Just when he'd about to give up on everything he is, "Random" events begin to happen that pits him in a position to save the planet -- in more ways than one.
I write a weekly blog, which is insane and all over the place -- kinda like me -- and I live in NYC, actively pursuing a career in acting.
Wow, that was a mouthful (and i doubt you read it all...) sorry about that.
