Summer Reading

Started Jun 30, 2011 0 Replies

The summer seems to slow down a bit (at least for 'me'!) and I have more time for recreational reading. I'm always in the market for material that's interesting---> can be anything from sci-fi to…Continue

Kittery
Country/State: (eg. Belgium, Florida,...)
USA/Maine
About Me:
Old. Much older than most of you guys, as far as I can tell so far. Reasonably educated, widely read, thinker. Beginning to overlay past beliefs with progressive science..late in life, but never 'too' late, eh? Seeker of whatever it is that lies between neurons: would like to avoid predicted Alzheimer's, or at least enjoy the ride!
Self-described old hippie. I see, in your group, the same flame, same desire to understand, same wish/need to improve, always improve, that the 'best' of the hippie philosophy nurtured.
Favorite music:
Emerson, Lake and Palmer; Led Zep; Cream; Tool-Lateralis; too much to even begin to list
Goals/Projects/Aspirations:
Goal: to continue to grow in every way, to never lose curiosity and openmindedness, to share what I have with any who need, and to love up any and all beings. *smile*

"Hi Murilo :) I think that understanding the most basic principle of life is the most important factor for a good life. That principle is change. We should all acknowledge that change is part of life, whether it is good change or bad change, and that…"

"Oh and anarchy imo has a bad stigma but doesn't necessarily imply a bad thing. It's an absence of laws and government, which I believe humanity is cable of living in such conditions in ideal circumstances, although the humanity we…"
