The Infinite in the Finite

When we think of something worthless the mind might turn to a simple rock. Crude and unfashioned, you can find some variation of this object almost anywhere across the entirety of the world. In fact, the only level to which your average stone is considered noteworthy is in how un-noteworthy it is. We toss them, we step on them, and we kick them, usually without a second thought. But let me tell you a different story. Approximately 13.4 billion years ago, upwards of a vigintillion particles…See More

About Me:
I am grateful to be alive.
I live comfortably in the fact that I know nothing.
and I am always curious to hear what others can teach me.

My goal is to help each and every person reach a state of bliss, it won't happen, but I'm okay with that. I'll just give it my best shot and enjoy the ride.

Peace!
Favorite music:
Theres incredible music in all genres, you just need to know how to look for it... I most commonly listen to artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Wonder, Living Colour, Led Zeppelin, Paco De Lucia, Flight of the Conchords, etc...
Favorite movies:
Fight Club, Inception, Pulp Fiction, The Matrix Trilogy, Kung Fu Panda (first and second), Black Swan, The Lord of the Rings, Blade Runner, Iron Man 1 and 2, Sherlock Holmes, Robinhood Men in Tights, V for Vendetta, The Dark Knight... ETC
Favorite books:
The Way of the Peaceful Warrior, Conquest of the Mind, The Fabric of the Cosmos: Time and the Texture of Reality, Tao of Pooh, The Belgariad, The Lord of the Rings, etc...
Goals/Projects/Aspirations:
I love Martial Arts, I hope to compete in amateur or perhaps semi-professional mma promotions at some point. Just something I'd love to do for a bit.

I love music! I love singing, playing guitar, and cello.

I love soccer. Its awesome.

I love Chess. Also awesome.

I am trying to reach a state of near perfect happiness, if it is possible. I want to uncover the science of how to live a life of joy and subjective success and I see IPower as a great tool for this.

I am a positive psychology major, but I also have a love neurology and really my interest is bringing the two fields together.

I am planning out the logistics and finances of a skydiving career in hopes this will give me a greater ability to do world travel and learn about other cultures as well as make money teaching people to jump out of the sky. I dunno, sounds pretty cool to me.

In the end, what I really want is to help create a culture in which self-actualization, open mindedness, and critical thought are the tenants for child development. Psychological research I've read suggest that happier people with larger, more stable self-esteems are not only more altruistic, but more motivated as well. If our society focused on this, I don't know, perhaps we'd see long lasting change.

That leads me to what I want to do in my 30's and beyond. Write books, teach, do seminars, and travel.

Thats all folks!
