Strawberry Fields II

I work in a school and today I was on my way to work when I bumped into a pupil and his mum. I was chatting to the mum when the young boy heard a hedge cutter in the distance and said ‘what’s that noise’. Me and the mother obviously knew what it was but I reckon we both were under the assumption that we didn’t care what it was, because that noise had small if any significance in our lives. This incident is symbolic to what happens every day to almost every person living in the United Kingdom.…See More

Strawberry Fields Forever is a song by the Beatles that is very catchy but is also filled with thought provoking lyrics. It was these lyrics that inspired me to come up with the concept ‘Strawberry Fields’. Now I realise I might not be the first to come up with this idea but hey I believe in it anyway. ‘Strawberry Fields’ is the concept there is more to the world than our individual lives/world (Strawberry Field) and if we just focus on our own existence then life becomes very easy but not…See More
