the weirdest wake-up thought i had, to how pointless hostility is for someone no longer in contact..... was alone in the thought that, it was possible that i'd been completely forgotten... that what was making the situation so significant / damaging was me... and that i could be doing exactly the same by choosing to push it to the back of my brain somewhere along with most other memories, learn what you can and move on. anger and stress being harmful after all ^^ it just works out better that way, for your own health along with everyone else too..
keep in mind she may feel YOU were in the wrong = the situation won't be saved alone by you changing your mind about hating on her ^^ she may be hating on you too for all that happened = you may have to work for a little forgiveness of your own :) i'm sure you're both relatively changed people by now anyway... which should make it easier hn <3 the you back then isn't the you now.
good luck with it all. (+ sorry about the length of this :P... bad habits & such)
