About Me:
Hi! My name is Nathan I'm 36 turning 37 in Aug. I'm 6 foot 2 inches and skinny as a rake. I am currently unemployed and I play games all day. tragic isn't it :D. Am a philosopher poet joker thinking singer in that order. I am also a ladies man but it has to be the right lady someone with both class and guts but I'm no catch right now so I'm content with being single I only put "Its complicated" in the relationship status cause it sounds more gangster than just being single. I come from a reasonable size family being the oldest of 5(3 brothers one sister).
Favorite music:
Pretty much all I listen to is Guardsman Bobs music its always good for whatever the occasion. Silence is nice too sometimes.
Favorite movies:
*Fight Club, although slightly confronting at times, I liked the whole men mentoring men within the fight club and the idea that a whole generation of males being brought up almost exclusively by women has actually been destructive to our identity as males (whether that is entirely accurate or not the idea has stuck with me and there seems to be something to it.)

There are alot of other films that I have watched nothing really comes to mind right now.
Favorite books:
I used to be avid reader when I younger but I've since stopped reading books. I think the last series of books I read was the Game of Thrones series (not all the way through but very nearly. I'm not going to list any correct titles cause I can't really remember them I blew through about a book a week.
I've read J.R Tolkens books The Simularian The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. There are others I read alot of Stephen King Books and wouldn't really credit him with being a brilliant author but he did do one series (his only series to my knowledge The Dark Tower Series) Its started with the book the Gunslinger which I honestly think is his best work to date (that along with some other short stories actually I think he really is a short story writter at heart Gunslinger being the smallest of all the tower series books.)I really think that sometimes he pads out his books with some verbal diaria inbetween the pages of horrific genius but I guess thats the book business making books nice and fat so people think they are getting their money's worth.
Goals/Projects/Aspirations:
I want to break old habits and make new ones
I want the ability to be able to zoom out my perspective and look at the bigger picture to enable myself to find solutions to my problems rather than get bogged down in my emotions and details.
I want to be finacially independant (not wealth per say but enough so that at least I won't be a burden to others in society).

A car, a reliable comfitable fuel efficient (or no fuel maybe battery powered) which is low cost maintenence and doesn't cost the earth to replace parts or get repaired (this might be a tough one since I live in Australia maybe you have some european connections, lol just kidding I'll find something but I'm sick of buying old cars just to get work and then having them die on me.

Some sort of creative project anything really, a book a novel a youtube channel a sculpture (never tried it but somewhere inside me I think I might be good at it.) Play a musical instrument I actually have a talent for singing but I have yet to discipline myself hard enough to be able to stick at learning an instrument namely the guitar.
Relationship Status:
It's Complicated

Hello to all Ipower members and anyone else that is reading this introduction/blog my name is Nathan I'm currently going through the process of quiting smokes and weed.  The catalyst for me joining this site was friend Dale of all the people in my life including my parents Dale is the only one who managed to get through to me that I was in fact a horrible opportunistic leech type person and not the nice person who for some reason bad things kept happening to them.  Over the period of time…

"An issue in the context of your reply is the so-called "mad/bad debate". And it very much plays into the perception of these rather extreme forms of criminal behavior. From a legal and forensic psychological standpoint a…"

"Interesting. I think that just being aware that our behavior is not always justified and taking on some personal responsibility can go a long way."

"I agree with the principle to an extent. However, in the case of school shooters, I don't think it can be justified. Same with rape. There's definitely a line, but like you said, those are the most extreme cases. On the topic of mass…"
