Country/State: (eg. Belgium, Florida,...)

About Me:
I've worked in charity radio in the past and still have a keen interest in broadcast journalism. In my spare time I host and produce the TGATQ podcast (tgatq.com & trulygeeky.com). Whilst studying English at university I spent a couple of years in the army, for the life experience and also to pay my way. Since graduating I've done some teaching placements, bar work, and volunteering.
Favorite music:
A cop out answer but I like a bit of everything- after a year volunteering in radio my playlists tend to jump from Marc Almond to Avantasia, Mumford & Sons and Einaudi.
Favorite movies:
I generally like feel good films, because I'm a bit of a girl. The Holiday, for example. I struggle to watch films properly though, they tend to be background noise.
Favorite books:
The Dark Tower series by Stephen King, The Quantum Enigma, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.
Goals/Projects/Aspirations:
To be happy in life. To be in charge of my own income, and to venture as far into internet radio as I dare to.
Relationship Status:
Single

"Interesting points. I just want to clarify that I didn't mean that society gets all the blame in these scenarios. In my opinion, in some of these cases, there is a shared blame. Maybe referring to society as a whole was too much of a…"

What if we trusted you?: Jerry Michalski at TEDxCopenhagen 2012

Many institutions we take for granted are designed from a basis of mistrust. Skip school too often? Go to jail. Run that red light, even when nobody is around for blocks? Ticket. Movements around the world are finding new ways, flipping the model,…

Aya replied to Lore's discussion Condemning others to validate ourselves.
"Empathy and understanding of a person's mindset and actions, while noble pursuits, do not provide an ability in relegating responsibility of such mindsets and actions to a certain party. Placing of blame and responsibility requires a…"
