This is somewhat an answer to the "should we care" post and to all the hate that was put on the "idiots" that don't want to change the world. But at the same time, it's a whole new discussion that's why I posted it here instead. No need to go read that other post to understand what follows. First of all, sorry for the obnoxious title, I had to draw your attention. Two things to remember as you read my post, before I start:Firstly, keep in mind that the state of mind that I am presently in is…See More

About Me:
I'm french (I live in Quebec). 20 years old, studying philosophy in an university, have praticed piano for 4 years and is still practicing piano (some classical, some video games music (final fantasy), (I just learned "those who fight for those who are intersted) ) . (Sorry for the insane absue of these : "( )" ). I try to think before acting, but i seem to think too much, and have problems when it comes to acting. I like to hang out with friends, no need for complicated activities, I just wanna laugh alot. I try to be myself as much as possible, and I dont like to be fake when im with people, and people who are fake with me. I want true relationships and I seek ppl who can talk about important things that are important to them, and that's why I came here.
(oh and yeah i'm single, even if there is a girl on my picture, she's my friend, and also my ex girlfriend)
Favorite music:
Alot; Sonata Arctica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, piano music (classical or video game ans some others), Coldplay, Our Lady Peace, Blink 182, Offspring, Rhaphsody Of Fire, Yanni, Charles Aznavour, Linkin Park, Nightwish, Weezer, Bob Marley... And more.
Favorite movies:
V for Vendetta, Benjamin Button, Lord of the Rings, Fearless, The Green Mile... And more.
Favorite books:
The sword of truth series (By Terry Goodkind), Forgotten Realms series, Bernard Werber books (even if I still haven't read alot of his books), Harry Potter, and more fantastic style books.
Goals/Projects/Aspirations:
(Before you start reading this, notice that despite all the appaently crazy things I say in my profile, remember that I'm a normal guy probably just like you, and I just put more emphasis on my problems in this profile.)
Well I should start by simply being able to set myself a goal, and get to it, since I have big problems with that. For now I'm only putting efforts on piano and philosophy, but not enouph efforts. I'd like to be able to take my life in my hands, and give a direction to it. For now, even taking a rendez-vous with my dentist is something I do like 3 months late. I once decided to do a list with everything I should do on it, and finally, I never did this list. And it happened a second time recently, I wrote to myself a big text that explains why doing this would be really helpful, and I stil haven't done the main thing. I need to learn discipline, and I need to start acting as fast as possible, as strongly as possible. I want to become who I wanna become, and stop falling in useless and tempting activities that I regret doing almost everytime I do it. I need to do what is more important before, even if it's less fun in a short term. I know it's the best thing to do. But I'm still talking too much now, and not acting. (Maybe its getting obsessive lol)
I speak frankly and it might sound wierd, but I seek a respectful community and I'm shure I'm gonna find it here.
I will start at the beginning, my first engagment is to write at least 3 comments every day here.

I definitely believe it's possible to get to the point where you can go and take action without needing a tool to help motivate you. It's the tools that help you get into the routine and things should fall into place naturally. I'm already a lot more efficient when it comes to doing chores at home...speaking of which I should get off now to do some :P. I'm glad I could help though. Let me know how those S.M.A.R.T. goals work out for you :).

Haha thanks for the funny/lovely comment. Welcome to I Power (although a delayed welcome.)

Yay I can practice my french now...well most of it is gone...I only can put simple sentences together (i.e. - Bonjour! Je m'appelle Carla. J'ai vingt-deux ans.) (Also using brackets/parentheses are awesome! lol)

Anyhow I wish you goodluck on finalizing your goals. You should look up how to write S.M.A.R.T. goals. This can really help a person to accomplish more goals when they're written in a specific way. I believe you can do it too, and not just saying :).
