Yes our minds are susceptible to becoming large antenna arrays for all the background cosmic static started from the big bang. Well not really, but it sure as hell feels that way sometimes. I don't know about you, but personally I could do without it. Although, sometimes it just won't turn itself off. So maybe a local visit to the nearest shrink to see if it's some type of schizophrenia? Nah. Here's some tips I use to turn off the mental shat as it were:
1. Do something different! Action is the best remedy. Sometimes, with all the mental static, it's hard to get out of a passive mode. However, I find if you just go out and force yourself to do something completely different that you have never done before, merely for your own…

So I wanted to share something with the community that you all might find interesting, hence the blog yo. I've been talking to one of my friends for quite some time now and we have come up with what I think a most interesting, fun idea for the new YouTube channel I'm working on called Collabolution. This is self development on a weird, exciting new level. Here it is in a nutshell...
Many people use technology as a form of synthesizing real life. We log into games where we take on alter ego's, experiment with new ideas in our heads, test our skills, etc. I'm going to be taking this to a new level. The content that will soon be provided will be called "Live My Life for Me". Put plainly my friend has agreed and is looking forward to making exclusive content for my new station. In these episodes she will give you, the user, two decisions that she is faced with. YOU will decide which path she must take!
The idea is to start the decisions out small and as…

America the Despised
It's become popular to hate America the past decade. Partly because it's very easy, with those who have no imagination, to make fun of the kid licking the window with his helmet on and partly because the super power we once had a monopoly on has been distributed by that same kid licking the window. Over the past half a century, America has been spreading "freedom and democracy" through capitalism. By doing this, we have been royally fucking up "organized" and "unorganized" governments around the world. This, in turn, has had an adverse effect on the reputation of those who doled out this "freedom" ie Americans. What is important to reiterate, is what America is truly doing in this modern age. We are spreading capitalism through the guise of democracy because it is profitable.
Through this process, America has given itself the image of the kid bully, forcing others to do what he wants because he knows what's right and the others around…

The Empathy Gene
It is largely believed that empathy is a skill passed on from those who teach us. That empathy is the art of being able to share an experience of another and make it your own experience. Having a shared relation to another purposefully, even when the experience has not happened to you, is considered to be feeling, emotional, empathic.
"To empathize with someone is to understand what he is feeling or, more properly, to understand what you would feel like if you were in his situation. It is an extension of self-concept, but it is far more complex. It requires an awareness that others think of themselves in ways that are both similar to and different from the way you do, and that they also have emotions they associate with those thoughts and images.
Children who are empathic tend to do better in school, in social…

Hey all. I just started a new idea and wondered if there were any within the Ipower community interested in joining. Just watch the video linked here:
I'm going to be centralizing a team of 15-20 serious minded, entertaining individuals on a new station I created called Collabolution. I've created an additional video I send out to members who audition so they understand the vision and the goals I have laid out etc. Anyhow, I don't expect much turnout from this and that's fine as I already suspect I will have to initially approach this on a one on one basis. I am very familiar with this process. As it gets larger people will want in and that's just how these things roll lol.
For those that stumble upon this and are interested check out the video and make sure…
