I be verry sadz.

I feel very meh. I'm really depressed. I get like this at random, and these two songs make me feel good. The Red by Chevelle, and Behind Blue Eyes by Limp Bizkit. They really speak to me. I hope I'm not using this site incorrectly. Does anyone have any way to help your self with depression because I don't want to go to a doctor. I'm messing up in school a lot and I feel like my parents wish they had a different son. I have considered suicide but I have so much to live when I think hard about… Continue

Self-Motivation and Me

Over the last 6 months I have been working part time and trying to lose weight to allow myself to enlist into the military. I have been lurking on this site for a while now but never signed up, thought I'm not sure why. I love everything this site stands for and I think it's great what you guys are doing on here.

So about my topic, like I said I've been trying to lose weight over the last 6 months. It's been going pretty good I suppose, having lost right at 40 pounds. But…

charge of the light brigade!

Charge! By pat donovan Feb 17th 2011

The word for the new teens decade is charge.

Charge-card fraud, electrical charges, big-brother preemptive criminal charges and the charge of the light brigade. In Canada, the light brigade is the CRTC, which recently made fake prime-time news legal.

Politicians the country over rejoice! Hello, cannon fodder! Smear campaigns with imaginary facts are now legal news.

In fact, this charging goes beyond the charge of… Continue

being: Your 'own' priest

On being your own Priest: pat donovan Feb 15th 2011

(This is a pun on 'own'. 'Property, justice or culture' urbanization, plus I have a tendency to wander a lot while thinking.)

The way is open and you will not be denied.

You have decided to develop. Yeah! Admin, manage and develop something other than getting it licked or social climbing.

Sacrifice, loyalty and skills, the elder, mid and new gods.

A real life is more than social… Continue

Elaborate explanation expanding on neuroplasticty.

Hello, to all who may read this. I would like to start by pointing out that the reason I thought it might be a good idea to post this is that even though the explanation on neuroplasticity found in the 'Athene's theory of everything' documentary is to the point and straightforward. I personally found it lacking in detail and wanted to put this up here to clarify what and how it works. I used some of the material from the documentary in my own explanation and expanded deeply upon this as…

wtf

Hello.

Ahh, today I understood what gives me all of these bad thoughts about myself and so on.

For 4 years I've been thinking my own alternate reality in my mind. Living it, thinking new things out everyday.

And now I understood that I put myself lower then this "reality" and because of that I fell bad.

Never heard of someone doing like that so I think it's bad. Really having everything I've ever wanted is really cool even if it's only in my mind. I've sayd I will…

Trial and error

Athene's SC2 Profile

Just when Athene's stream ended, I "cracked" the character code of Athene's SC2 ID.

Well it was really just trial and error and took me about 30 minutes and gave me a stiff wrist.

The determination or perhaps the stubbornness delivered.

May/Should I publish his ID?

Edit: Got permission from Chiren to publish it: AtheneWins.583

Lights and Sounds, and How they affect Us

I stumbled upon this site a few years ago and it compelled me to get a brainwave generator and to even try out some neural beats.

The website is about how Lights and Sounds, emmited at certain frequencies, can have specific affects on humans.

people problems

Problems with People: pat donovan feb 7th 2011

World-revolution, my fanny! (Egypt is about to re-discover serious food problems, I betcha.)

I'll assume 'people' can be dumped into whole 'cultures' for this effort. It makes the treatment simpler, epically if you ONLY talk about the weaknesses in each system-type.

Greed, vanity and power are normal human weaknesses.

Politicians? On the whole, they can't run a hot-dog stand, and their prime executives… Continue

Where I've been and why I haven't been very active

G'MORNIN THERE IPOWER (oh yes, Dean- I'm not taking this from you, if you watch all my 90 day challenge videos they started with g'morning Ipower and/or hey there Ipower)

Oh man, where do I start. I haven't been very active here because I've been putting quite the bit of work into school. I've been dishing out papers and working out math problems like no tomorrow. But Chicago was recently cascaded with snow and all my classes were canceled since Tuesday Night- (so…

The Union: The Business Behind Getting High

Hey, I watched this and wanted to share. It's a well-made documentary about cannabis (for recreational, industrial and medicinal purposes) and the business behind keeping it illegal. It's quite long but very informative and let's you see a different side to this plant.

Applying the "Athene's theory of everything" to self dev

Hey,

I'm going to start posting the ways I've been using the documentary for self development. Criticism is welcome.

"Whatever you are doing at any time you are physically modifying your brain"

its pretty clear that this has massive implications for self development, when I keep this phrase in my working memory I find it extremely motivational because I realize the cost of doing something stupid in an unaware situation, and suddenly I  can see…
