Self Development Activism - Confessions

And so it begins...

Because making a website is going to be a little difficult for a while for multiple reasons, I've decided just to make a weebly and put it on my own domain and use resources/content I designed for my own site. This will be temporary until I find suitable hosting and am actually able to create a content which is at least the…

Zoning out and homing in

Hello iPower. I'm back from my holiday in Cyprus and I feel quite refreshed even if somewhat tired from the return journey.

Cyprus is a beautiful country with proud people, a welcoming culture and a disregard for health and safety that I fell in love with. I went with my girlfriend and we relaxed, drank cocktails and sat in a jacuzzi a lot of the time. We took an ATV and drove around beaches and…

Dramatic Entry

There are lots of words in the English language. These words can be put together in almost infinite ways to form endless lines of sentences and conversations, however there is only two words that actually get things done. Hard work. Unless you are writing a speech. Then the other words can get things done, too.

I digress.

Knuckle down time. Make or break. All or nothing. Live or die. Sink or swim. I need to  am…

New Mission: Get Healthy

Guys, I'm gonna level with you. I have failed at my mission to be Healthy for years now. Its a god awful struggle for me. I am not on the side of giving up, but dam guys this is no easy task for a college student who's school serves shit, who's gym sucks, and who's wallet is empty.

I've spent the better part of my life eating shit! and i really aim to change it. and my changes have started somewhat successfully.

I have only drank water (and booze with friends once in a blue…

The Infinite in the Finite

When we think of something worthless the mind might turn to a simple rock. Crude and unfashioned, you can find some variation of this object almost anywhere across the entirety of the world. In fact, the only level to which your average stone is considered noteworthy is in how un-noteworthy it is. We toss them, we step on them, and we kick them, usually without a second thought. But let me tell you a different story.

Approximately 13.4 billion…

Srawberry Fields

Strawberry Fields Forever is a song by the Beatles that is very catchy but is also filled with thought provoking lyrics. It was these lyrics that inspired me to come up with the concept ‘Strawberry Fields’. Now I realise I might not be the first to come up with this idea but hey I believe in it anyway.

‘Strawberry Fields’ is the concept there is more to the world than our individual lives/world (Strawberry Field) and if we just focus on our own existence then life becomes…

Holiday

I'm going on holiday in a few hours. It will be my first holiday in a hotel that has more than 3 stars. My first time in Cyprus. My first holiday with my girlfriend. My first relaxing holiday in which I don't have to leave the hotel to go sightseeing or do "activities". My first "all-inclusive" holiday. I'm leaving everything including non-fictional books and my laptop at home and I'm going to force myself to relax for the first time in years.

Also, got my hair cut for the…

Lack of participation

My last blog was rather serious and long and personal and didn't get many views and didn't get any comments. Why should I continue making content on this channel when clearly no one cares? Most of the forum posts end up causing arguments not discussions and a lot of people on this site don't see themselves as self development activists but people who are already better than everyone else because they're on this site. I'd say this is resignation from this site but I actually still like the…

#1 - Why and how?

Hello to the person whoever decides to read this. This will be the pilot entry to my massive blog where I will be covering the endless failures of the human society, productivity and whatnot (okay, its not all failures but I will be talking about the bigger flaws and how they can be improved). And to make something clear, I may end talking about another topic entirely when I do branch out, but I'll try to avoid going from politics to nuclear reactions.…

Feel like doing a Blog

Whats up guys. I am sitting here. Kind of sick with stuffy nose, and a bloated belly. Been messed up for couple of days. Ever since I won the competition my health has been going down. I have been, so tired and unable to concentrate on anything productive. My workouts seem fine for now, because I have decided to just go bulking. It is impossible almost to gain muscle without gaining some fat, so oh well. Working out is just a part of my life now like pooping, eating, and…

02-2012-1 (region 1 censorships zone)

Groundhog day, 2012. notes from the ' region 1 censorship zone.'

Man, the day started off interestingly enough.

A 70$ payment to someone on a paypal account I don't have. (email notice of.)

Wow. The corps are getting interesting. They decide you're guilty and charge you for it, even if they have to give you a bank account to run into the red.

Not that I’ve heard many good things about paypal anyway. The region one censorship zone is getting murky these days, eh?,…

The Next Evolution...

THE NEXT EVOLUTION

Alright then, I'm doing something slightly different for these next two weeks. I'm going to add more 'hiking' into my routine, and more running, because that's my weakness. Which leads me to this...I don't think this will be just a fitness blog, not sure what to call it but keep on reading and see for yourself.

You are only as strong as your weakest link, most people that have a weak trait such as me with running, would just avoid…

Lore replied to Lore's discussion Condemning others to validate ourselves.
