Talk to Stranges - Saul Willams

Nah, I wasn't raised at gunpoint and I've read too many books

To distract me from the mirror, when unhappy with my looks

And I ain't got proper diction for the makings of a thug

Though I grew up in the ghetto and my niggas all sold drugs

And though that may validate me for a spot on MTV

Or get me all the airplay that my bank account would need

I was hoping to invest in a lesson that I learned

I thought this fool had jumped me just because it was my… Continue

"Just as there are no atheists in fox holes, there are no libertarians in a financial crisis."

The best economic minds of America do not understand this crisis.

Politicians, economists, journalists and business leaders gathered to discuss why the economy is in such poor shape and what to do about it:

"I wish that i knew of someone who knew exactly what we should do and what would work."

"We're in the midst of paradigm shift of extraordinary proportions. The Bush administration which took office eight year ago as social conservatives, is now leaving…

WASHINGTON (AP) — Massive legislation to bail out the stressed financial industry is hanging near defeat on the floor of the House.

More than enough members of the House had cast votes to defeat the Bush administration-pushed bill, and the vote was being held open, apparently…

Do you support the insurgence in the Middle East?

A long time ago, the united states engaged in war with Iraq. They quickly took out the Iraqi military.

through a 'turth seeker' perspective, it is of course a conquest of greed; to establish permanent bases in the middle east and seize oil assets.

And possibly the age-old american practice of overthrowing foreign governments because they aren't the U.S's puppets. Who knows on that last one.

Well, an insurgency has arisen since, as is to be expected, such… Continue

Passion and Love

What is love?

People leave their spouses because they claim that they don't feel love...what they mean is they can't feel passion...can the people of this era really feel love from one another anymore? It's a shame, you see. Why leave someone because you can't feel love from them anymore? The truth is if you really loved them, wouldn't you cling to them like life and breath? Love is not so selfish as to flee from silence. Would you let your own ideals become so shallow as to use… Continue

#11 on my fix-it list, almost taken care of

I'll be posting updates to this blog entry if you want to follow along.

VODKA NOT SMOKING ANYMORE!!! Sort of.

I've been wanting to quit. I can't pull it off. So I'm trying an ePuffer electronic cigarette to help me through. I get the added bonus of 'smoking' in my bedroom while I transition, hence letting me play some games while I get thru it. Work won't let me, even though it's about as 'dangerous' as an asthma inhaler.

So let's dive in.

New York Times Article Link: "Sarah Palin and the Rape Kits"

The following's a link to a New York Times Editorial Observer article by Dorothy Samuels, published on 25th September, 2008, which alleges that Sarah Palin, while serving as mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, along with the town's police chief, Charlie Fannon, signed off of a policy in which rape victims were billed by the town's hospital for the cost of the rape kits used in investigating their cases.

While Palin apparently said nothing about this policy, Fannon, in an interview with… Continue

<i>"The best minds are not in government. If any were, business would hire them away."</i> - Ronald Reagan

Contrast: "Republicans believe that government doesn't work, so they become elected and prove it." - Unknown.

We're potentially facing another Great Depression, and it would sure as hell not only affect the United States. If you checked a little bit back in history, the crash of Black Tuesday was very similar to this, and the depression happened as a result of Hoover gambling that the market would straighten it out, and it didn't. FDR then gets elected, enacts the New… Continue

Russia and Georgia ~Behind the conflict

Although the conflict has calmed down a bit lately, it changed the contemporary geopolitical world with consequences for global peace and security. It created a certain shift in European security dynamics, it was a test to the EU security policy and it raised questions about the future of NATO and the role of Russia in future partnerships. Yet there is a lot of misconception about this issue, its consequences, its roots, how it got started, but also why it got started. That’s why first of all… Continue

Contrabama Unite!!! McCain=Obama!

There are those of us, radicals, who have not fallen under the Obama curse!

while i will not go over our reasons, we know that we see through this puppet who serves his financial masters.

Please give your reasons for believing such, so that we, and others, may learn.

We need to convert people to the independent cause, our cause, our beliefe of believing that he is a fraud, and that any major democratic politician as well as a republican one offers no 'change.'

First Obama-McCain Debate Reactions

Got through watching the first Presidential debates a little while ago.

Before I go any further here, three advisory points need to be stated: 1, am an Obama supporter, 2, missed the debate's first ten minutes, and 3, there were times during the debate that I got so excited/angry, what have you, that I missed small parts of the debate.

That said, and as much as I hate to say it, Folks, McCain in some areas came off the better in areas like tax policies, and in some of his… Continue

United States of America- opinions?

All over the world Media influences our thoughts and ideas, Including those thoughts about one's own home town.
Media and NEWS stations have a lot of power.
I was curious what kind of opinions are being made based on what one hears regarding the United States of America.

Are they Good or Bad?

The biggest sh*t ever could happen...(and the biggest shit I've seen)

Today I came down to a friend with all my computer stuff. We put it all together, and then suddenly the monitor won't show a thing.. I just thought "erh, WTF? what is going on? at home it worked." I called teh guy who "scavenged" my comp together. I told him the situation. Anf he said my motherboard is gone.. because its already old, with integrated stuff etc.. We connected my monitor to other cmops, and we had to realize, its not the monitor's fault.. So now I'm f*cked. I stay here for 1 day,… Continue

I want out!

I want to get out of here....

I want to go to Europe, France, Japan, Italy anywhere, but where I'm at right now.

I wake in the morning, go to school, come home and go next door to lay in my neibor's yard wishing I was at these places...wishing that I didn't have to go through the same routine every single day.

I want to hear nature instead of cars...instead of the people yelling at each other across the street I want to hear… Continue
