Recent Observations

I have been incredibly busy over the last few months so I will apologise upfront to anyone who might have expected a reply to a comment on a previous blog but really, this is due to circumstances beyond my control.

Yay!!, I am trying to get over the 'reciprocation of obligation' which is known as Christmas. This is an incredibly hard time of the year for any atheist- eg why are you enforcing your belief system upon me just to fatten the wallet of the Capitalist? I have a…

Wushu (Chinese Martial Arts) in your country

Hey guys, how do you know Chinese Martial Arts? Are there any clubs around you have such things to learn?

Does Wushu interested you? How about your friends or your classmates?

It's Christmas lol.

Hey guys, I'm kinda new here, but I'd still would like to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope you people enjoy and spend this time with your families and friends. I hope that you all will bear this Christmas's memories in your minds. I wish that all of our plans will fulfill and our dreams will come true.

I personally will bake some gingerbread, drink some Jager and spend this time with my family and my lovely fiancee. And of course will dance a little bit…

I'm back baby ;D

Hey guys, I'm back not that anyone really noticed or cared too much xD

Maybe just cos I'm still a bit of a noob compared to the guys who have been here for years and take lead with their ideas and inspire people in every post... something to aim for here I guess ;P

So if you actually have been keeping up with my previous posts, you'll know I have a few projects (like we all do) going on right now. I'll list them below and as I do so, write about the progress towards…

Creativity Block, and life situations

Finished my exams now. 1 class B+, another A-, another probably B, and one B- I hope... The stuff I am learning in school just doesn't interest me. I try to take proactive approach in making the subjects I take interesting, but my brain just deletes the information after the exam. Or maybe it relocates the information into the subconscious part of my mind. Like I am not aware of what I know.

There was a memory issue I had long ago in my first semester of nursing. I just…

I Power making a real difference

Hey guys, Reese here!

I just saw something really inspiring and had to share it with you guys. Shawn from the Uncultured project just put online an amazing new video and told me: "the I Power community made the single biggest donation to project seen in my 2011 #P4A video. So you guys make the behind the scenes logistics and NGO collaboration possible in a really big…

What is infinity?

A few days ago, I had an interesting discussion with one of my teachers. We discussed the nature of infinity. I asked whether or not one infinity can be bigger than another. This might sound crazy at first but I do have a logical reason for saying this. There is and infinite number of decimals between any two numbers. That means that on a numberline, there are an infinite number of decimals between 0 and 1, or 0 and 2. Obviously, the distance from 0 and 2 is greater than that of 0 and 1,…

3. Game time...

So I got my first real job this week. Just about to hit up my first shift, get some monriz.

Anyway. I've been thinking about how adding games to things I want to get better at will help me get better at that thing, just because of the game presenting a challenge to be overcome.

To test my theory I've decided to try it out. I've decided to break down the games into categories and then apply them to things I want to get better at. These are:…

2.5. A solution...maybe

This week I've been thinking a lot about my questions last blog post and I think I may have come to some kind of conclusion, or at the very least a label for something obvious. Normally I would post on a Wednesday, but this is quite long and is sort-of prep for the blog I intent to post on Wednesday anyway.

This is just a hypothesis and I hope that a reader will try to see what I mean by what the hypothesis shows, not by what it says.

Please also note, this is part of…

Sleeping in all Day

I really, really need to get more creative with my titles. They've fell in quality so much whilst I've been posting blog posts on iPower - I apologise!

Anyway, here we go. Post three of the new wave of revolution. Not a global one I'm afraid. Although, if I could back a revolution, it'd be in Siria. I'd bomb those bastards that are sniping children and opressing the free people. Well, ex-free people.

Annyywayy...

2. So I've been pretty busy this week doing nothing...

So I've been pretty busy this week doing nothing. It's so easy to procrastinate. Honestly I thought I was just going to wake up not tired one day and be able to do work; but day after day here I am. It's past four in the morning and I have a lecture at nine. I'm staying up because I don't have a great many days left of uni and I need to get stuff done (I have a very long list: so instead I'm writing a blog...yah...).

I was talking to a friend I hadn't spoken to in a while today. He…

An Inspireing Video

I would first like to say. This is one of many videos that made an impact in my life. This video here just reminds me of how short life really is we need to cherish what we all have each and everyday and never forget to tell everyone that we love and care about just how much we love them and to let them all know of how much they mean to us. Because we never know when they will be gone that is why I am thankful that my friends and I after hanging out we let each other know how much we care…

My salsa story and Salsa clubs vs hip hop clubs

I took two salsa dancing class about a two years ago and learned the basics. My classes only trained us how to do the performance at the end of the year. We would just drill those moves every class and the girl would end up leading herself most of the time So I never really got good. Since the dance performance wasn't entirely salsa dancing my move list was very limited. I never really went to a  salsa club because i was too shy and afraid that girls would be bored to death dancing with…

Monday, monday, monday.

What happened today? I woke up to my alarm at 7:00. Really wanted to get up and go with the old 'sleep isn't as important as success', but I just rolled over and slept some more. Lesson learnt here, I need to get to sleep earlier! Anyway, my mother woke me up about 20 minutes later and the preperations for the school week began. I was actually ready and on time today. There was a little bit of uncessary messing around but it's an improvment on a normally last minute hurried…

Time still works

I need to improve! I need to be better! I need to be quicker, stronger, more intelligent, harder working...

The last time we spoke I was in New Zealand. Incidentally, it was the frist time we spoke. Things have moved on since then, as you can expect from life, things tend to change very now and then!

My location changed: I'm now back in the UK. I had left for a year to NZ, didn't enjoy school and came back.

My occupation has changed: I am now…

1. Today, my drummer Kane called me up...(Personal Essay)

Imagine Isaac has the voice of Cartman from southpark. And, imagine Kane is voiced by Butters.

- Hey Kane how are you doing?

- Yeah, I'm feeling good. How are you doing?

- Not bad.

- Oh, well just called to see how you were doing. You were a bit down at band practice.

- Yeah, I've just been feeling garbage the past week.

- Why, what's the problem?

- I dunno, I'm just not confident about the songs any more, or really about who I…

Matt Watt replied to Matt Watt's discussion What's the difference between good and evil?
"Dualism of subject-object metaphysics is like a prison for the mind. The best way to tackle issues like morality and values is to start with the nature of thought. I think this pretty much sums it up, great way of looking at it."
