I'm going on holiday in a few hours. It will be my first holiday in a hotel that has more than 3 stars. My first time in Cyprus. My first holiday with my girlfriend. My first relaxing holiday in which I don't have to leave the hotel to go sightseeing or do "activities". My first "all-inclusive" holiday. I'm leaving everything including non-fictional books and my laptop at home and I'm going to force myself to relax for the first time in years.

Also, got my hair cut for the first time in maybe a year (I seriously can't remember when the last time was) and I look even more awesome. I have managed to keep up jogging to and from work partways and I feel awesome about it. My PC setup is complete (literally all I have left to do is connect my 2nd monitor to it with HDMI and set the correct resolution which will take about a minute and no effort) and it is awesome and makes me feel like my business/charity/entertainment venture will be awesome.

Awesome! :D

PC Specs (Cos I know people always wanna know this shit for some reason...) (Also note that this is as cheap as possible for all these parts in the UK, I picked the parts and the PC was built for me because it was cheaper as getting all the parts at the best price would have meant paying for delivery from multiple distributors)

Rig

Windows 7 Home

Intel Core i5 2500K 3.3Ghz Quad

8GB DDR3 RAM

NVidia GTX 560 4GB (it was upgraded to this from 1GB for free, I thought it was an unusual amount lol)

1TB HDD

Monitors (I don't mention brands for screens as this is always subjective imo, what matters is the technical data, these TVs are GREAT value for money and rival viera and bravia imo)

22" 1080p super high contrast LCD Monitor (for when sitting close to screen)

42" 1080p LCD TV (for sitting far away, films, PS3 and extended desktop)

Peripherals

Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 3000 (laser mouse and ergonomic keyboard (don't recommend mouse as it's quite heavy but the keyboard is great))

Microsoft HD Lifecam 3000 (Great quality 720p Widescreen)

Xbox 360 Controller

D-Link N150 150MBps Wireless Adapter (I know this is slow but internet in the UK sucks and our max speed is around 2MB DL 0.4MB UL -> gonna suck when I start uploading videos :\)

Turtlebeach Earforce PX11 (Only stereo but I've used 5.1/7.1 headphones before and don't think that the difference is anywhere near worth £200/$350)

"Well I AM essentially talking about opinion.  Because really - that is all there is. Even if everyone on the earth agrees on something does that make it a fact or does that just mean they share the same opinion?"

"Yes I agree open-mindedness is of paramount importance. Even if you think you know all there is to know about something it pays to stay open minded about the possibility of new information on that subject coming to light."

Being right

In a sense I want to blow up the words “right” and “wrong”.  I want to banish them from my vocabulary.More specifically I do not ever wish to BE right. And I do not ever want to say to someone else “you are WRONG”. What is the purpose of being or proving oneself to be, right? And what is the purpose of proving someone else is wrong?Apart from some sort of ego based sense of satisfaction what is the purpose of these things? Can anyone give me an answer to this question? If someone says something…See More
