How to lose weight for newbs - Chapter #1

Hello! As some of you may know, I had this little project going from a long time (3 months now) and I hope it will help many members of the community.

Well first of all, lemme establish that I am not making up all of this, I am going with a nutrition specialist every week.... and well about the results they are real, at least did wonders for me, my brother and an ex. Works no matter how much you want to lose (even if you are like 3-4 kgs over your ideal weight).

Anyway I know a lot people have a lot people in here know a lot about nutrition and might want to hang me over for saying some of the stuff in here... I admit it I am an ignorant on the matter but well.... #1 I see results from all this stuff, #2 a specialist in nutrition its helping me out, so I know at least its healthy.

So well lets get to the basics, first the evidence as I like to call it =b. Here's me last couple of years (yeah I had long hair on college haha)




And here's me after 3 months of "diet" getting rid of 47 lbs (actually this is a shot from tonight before my workout routine)




Yeah... all of my life I've been a weight rollercoaster, 4 years ago I got very near from getting on my ideal weight, I did it by doing bad diets, counting calories, and doing exercise. Didn't last much after getting a knee injury and a depression after losing my platonic love... long and now that I think of it, stupid story. Anyway after that I gained a lot of weight, I think last year I was on my most heavy weight I've ever been. So yeah doing diets by yourself its usually a bad idea haha.

So inside my mind, I said ENOUGH!, and swallowed up all my pride and asked for help with a very known doctor in the place I live. I should say that it was the best decision I could have taken, getting help to get out of a problem its sometimes the best way to go.

Ironically the first time I heard about IPower, was about the same time I started losing weight. I got very inspired by the community and all the great ideas going on that I decided to change not only my weight, but many of the bad habits that I had. Now I think I am a better person that I used to be, but there's still a long road to follow =). Putting your vision into practice can be very hard, but if you are disciplined and determined there's no power that can stop you from doing a complete revolution in your life.

So... ouch yeah this post its getting a ton longer than I intended haha, so I guess the actual "diet" (its not a diet, its more like good eating habits) will go in the next post if you guys really want to know, if you don't want Ill stick only with photos of my progress =) its all up to you guys.

In conclusion, I can say that every one of us has the power inside, we just need to get our mind and spirit really into it to make it happen!!

U have to talk bout ur good eating habits :P
Im not very disciplined... but i guess i dont eat much junkfood :P

Though i have been depressed and eating it more than usual... stupid feet surgery :P
Once i get better i'll lose some weight and ur my example :D

Its awesome how u decide to change urslef for better :D
I did it once... :D made me much much happier XD
