Scientific Research & Self-Development Activism
Got a reply to my question from my ISP today, about my previous blog (ISP and Privacy). Seems like I wasn't on the priority list, but I got an answer even if it took one month.
Here is a translation/summary of what they had to say:
For my phone-line:
Time and date of the call
Telephone number of the person you call
Telephone number of the person who calls you
For my internet connection:
Time and date the connection was established
Duration of the connection
IP address
All this information is kept for a period of one year.
If this is true then I'm fairly happy with their privacy policy. But I am a bit skeptical, because there is more data on the monthly bill then they mentioned in the email. If I want a copy of all the data related to me, I have to send them an official written request with a copy of my ID.
Might target my mobile phone operator next and see what they have to say. And of course if your ISP doesn't monitor your data, websites surely will ;).

AVG (free antivirus software) that blocks tracking cookies which websites use to gather data about your internet usage statistics and behaviours
