I've moved down to Plymouth now, been here about a week now, a week without internet, damn that sucks!

People here don't have a noticeable accent. I'd usually be extremely aware of it moving down south but here it seems that people are very well spoken without sounding like posh toffs :)

People here are also very friendly, you don't have to fear talking to strangers so much. Back in Warrington you had to be careful about making eye contact with someone you didn't know, here, you might not talk to certain people but if you look at them and just look away or do the "sup nod" it's fine :)

Put together some furniture yesterday, our flat looks super nice but still no couch or office chair for my desk yet :\

Once we are settled in I will probably put some pics up, the internet here is gonna be amazing too, like 15x faster than before so considering making a livestream at some point xD

Not been able to update the website which sucks however got 2 job interviews on Tuesday already, one of which is with Greenpeace which would be fucking awesome to work at, especially considering it would be the highest paid job I've ever had, it would be my first officially full time (not random shifts that add up to full time hours, proper 9-5... well... 10-6) and would be doing something I actually give a shit about

So wish me luck, sorry I've been inactive, having no internet sucks!

Yeah I'm so hopeful of working at GreenPeace, a lot of the work they do is what I hoped to do with NorthernCornerUK :D All I gotta do is nail this interview and I'll have a proper job, still be doing something positive for the world and doing something I enjoy and give a shit about :D interview is on Tuesday morning, wish me luck bro :D

hopefully internet will be sorted 2 weeks from Monday, maybe earlier

Didn't get the job at greenpeace, I thought it went great, towards the end I was being told about what hours I would be doing and how I'd be paid and stuff so that was a sign to me that I'd got it :\ I guess someone who interviewed with them later was better than me :( Emailed them asking for more feedback, particularly about how I can improve in future and to send me vacancies when they appear again. Seriously gutted about this but at least I have another interview somewhere else later today and then I have another later in the week
