Hello dear Reader!

I must say that I think that you are rather awesome for reading this!  (You probably tell to yourself that you are awesome all the time; but then remember this - you are extra awesome now!)  Therefore I think I would do something nice for you.. I will actually share useful information that you can put in use after you read this. I often times don't take the time too write things like this, and when I do it used to end with just a few posts. I think my record is 3 posts in the same place. If I beat that then well heck! I have surpassed my own expectations of this. But I digress.

I want to share with you, something that literally rescued my time! You see, to be able to make credible goals about what you should spend your day doing, a great thing is data about exactly how you spend your time in front of the computer. And RescueTime let's you monitor in REAL time what you are doing. The great thing is also that it lets you grade different tasks from how distracting they are (like facebook, youtube etc.) or how productive they are. And I can only talk for myself, but it have been truly useful for me. I have ever purchased a year subscription, to get more detailed data, even if there is a great free version as well.

For me this has made me more aware of what I spend time doing, and of how much time I spend doing things. This way it gives me an edge to put up strategies to changes my habits and behaviors, in such a way that it ends up saving a lot of time for me. I hope this have been helpful; and if you think it have please let me know!  Feedback of all different kinds is appreciated!  I need your support too make more useful posts then what I ever have!

EDIT: A question that seam to be poping up is, how do I get the free version of the service? Just go to this page and choose RescueTime Lite, this option is free forever!

Dear Nathan! Thank you for your feedback! It means alot! Make sure to tell me how it goes! Things like this use to have higher success rate, if you expect to talk about it with others later. Why not make a blogpost right now, pinning down the things you want support with.

Dear The Shiznit: Again just register at the site, it is actually free forever! No need to go to secondary sources to download, the client would be useless as the service itself is web-based. ;-)
