Philosophy class/bass guitar update.

I haven't made a blog in a while so here's one for everybody's reading pleasure. In my last blog I mentioned there was some confusion as to what the content of the class papers was about. I got that straightened out but I turned in three papers in my last class so I'm hoping I don't get docked for any of them. I do think I'm starting to settle in to this class a bit as my writing seems to get better with each paper.

On the bass guitar front I talked with a guy at a music shop over the phone and we set up an appointment for next Monday. The funny thing is that my brother plays the drums and my brother's drum teacher is the same guy who will be teaching me bass. My mother forwarded an e-mail from this guy she got saying that he offers a family discount. The stereotypical poor bassist smiles.

Other than that I've been pretty stressed out with work and school. On top of this I've been trying to pay as much attention to the political atmosphere here in the U.S. what with it being an election year. Lately with that I've been trying to ease off as there has been a lot to be depressed/angry about with this administration. I'll probably end up voting third party as I don't like either of the two main candidates.

"An issue in the context of your reply is the so-called "mad/bad debate". And it very much plays into the perception of these rather extreme forms of criminal behavior. From a legal and forensic psychological standpoint a…"

"I agree with the principle to an extent. However, in the case of school shooters, I don't think it can be justified. Same with rape. There's definitely a line, but like you said, those are the most extreme cases. On the topic of mass…"
