I had another fun day in my philosophy class this evening as we discussed religion for the main topic, specifically the Christian philosopher Augustine. The instructor brought up the classic problem of evil and the paradox that ensues with the Christian god in such a world. The best part is one of the guys in class, some redneck marine, who claimed to believe in god said god was a jerk for not preventing evil.

Before class though I turned in my two papers and received the paper I turned in from the previous class. I got an 8.5/10 on it but the instructor noted that I didn't write about the reading material we are supposed to do outside of class. I didn't write about the reading material on the two papers I turned in so after class I spoke to him about it and he said I needed to fix it. So for next week I'll need to write 3 papers. When leaving class I made small talk with a classmate and he mentioned that he was writing about the discussions in class as well and the instructor was accepting his work. This caused me some confusion so I emailed the instructor tonight. I'm hoping to hear back from him tomorrow so we can meet in person to discuss this.

A cool thing about the guy I talked to after class about the papers was that he was a bass player of ten years and he agreed that we should get together so he could show me a thing or two about it. :)

"'Striving for the ideal'. I think that is what most of the people here on I Power want to do, but how are we going to do it?"

"Welcome man. Anarchy rules! I do think the point you bring up about the humanity we live with not being ideal for Anarchy is excellent. It is why, although quite hardened with my Anarchist views, it is more in the theoretical sense. I want to strive…"

"Oh and anarchy imo has a bad stigma but doesn't necessarily imply a bad thing. It's an absence of laws and government, which I believe humanity is cable of living in such conditions in ideal circumstances, although the humanity we…"

"Interesting points. I just want to clarify that I didn't mean that society gets all the blame in these scenarios. In my opinion, in some of these cases, there is a shared blame. Maybe referring to society as a whole was too much of a…"
