It's my second week of real university *finally.* I was admitted late and didn't get to make it to the earlier orientations and had to pay the late fee, which took out quite a chunk from my bank account. At least I have a grant from federal aid that will definitely help me out with paying for my education. I swore that I will not be taking out any more loans.

Uni is actually nice. They have a place where they will fix your laptop for you for free which is better than I can say for the two big major universities in Texas that are not as student friendly. Decided to switch to Computer Science major a month ago. I'm taking some of the beginning classes. Thank God I have experience in C++. I figure I should learn C# as well. A lot of students in that class looked so lost the second day. It was a little funny. I already finished the first project for that class. So it's all good. Just need to read textbook. Philosophy class is pretty cool too. I think I impressed the professor. He asked if he could use my homework as an example for syllogism in class. To be honest, I just wrote stuff down. Didn't really try and think too deeply about it.

I also found a parkour group near the university. They have posters everywhere now, which is great. So, I can recruit them into my Tyler Durden army...MUHAHAHA! Unfortunately, they meet up when I have class...typical. Oh well...it's not like I can afford to spend all that gas money anyway. Every two weeks is like 75 - 100 dollars for gas money and transportation. I really need to train hardcore again. It's been almost a year now and I am totally out of shape...deflated, more like. It sucks being super skinny.

I've also been looking into foreign exchange. Unfortunately, that costs money too, but if there aren't many people willing to be a foreign exchange student, that would increase my chances in getting accepted and get awarded lots of scholarship money as well. I just have to deal with the extra stress in finding a place to stay at the country of my choice, take care of student visas, and things like that.

If I am going to try to accomplish a lot of the stuff I want to accomplish, I need a better job that has more consistent pay instead of kissing ass and depending on tips all the time. Money is the only thing that stands between me and my goals at the moment.

"Interesting. I think that just being aware that our behavior is not always justified and taking on some personal responsibility can go a long way."
