To think that whichever entity it is that created mind & matter would want a mere form of life such as us humans to behave in specific ego-related patterns is nothing short of the most arrogant attitude we can have.

We humans, a mere form of life on a planet's that's nothing but a grain of sand in the universe, cannot realistically consider ourselves a predominant factor of that entity's "wrath", if "wrath", said entity can experience.

Considering this entity created something as vast and ever-changing as the universe as we know it (meaning there might be a whole lot more), it would be preposterous to imagine that this entity's focus would be on a form of life that dwells on what really is a tiny grain of salt hidden within the depths of his universe. That would be giving ourselves way more credit than we deserve.

It's not that I believe there's no "God" per se; I mean, there must be an entity that created the matter system that composes all we perceive to exist. I simply can't get myself to believe that this entity has an official name, that it has very specific human-like standards for a mere form of life that lives on a microscopic part of the system it created.

An official name? Of course it has, it's you.

Well, faith-wise, it would be true. :)

What I meant was regarding this entity, conscious or not, from which the matter system we call "science" stems from. I just don't believe that this entity does have a name, nor does it have pointless standards for us to abide to, considering how unimportant we, as a simple living race on a grain of sand, are on that entity's priority list. I mean, it created a system that has laws which go beyond our current comprehension; why would that entity waste its time on pointless crap like this?

I mean, it is far from being pointless to us, but to whatever created "existence", I'm certain it is.

When I talk about grains of sand, I'm saying that proportion-wise.

And I'm referring to "God" as whichever entity that is responsible for the existence of this mind and matter system we were made out of. It is not my intent to diminish our value as a living species. All I'm saying is that I personally cannot get myself to believe that this entity I previously mentioned, who is responsible for the existence of this system we were made out of, would actually be so conceited and self-centered (not to mention bored) as to create a set of puerile rules which would solely apply to a specific living species that happens to dwell on a planet that, quite honestly, is quite small compared to the rest of all that exists.

Hope this clarifies my point of view.
