I have read 'The power of now' - a long time ago on your recommendation. And I agree the book really is epic. Right now I had an Aha moment for how much you are dedicated to improving this ability that the arthur of the book 'The Power of female friendship' is calling the cooleye. The book is suggesting that too improve this ability one should do present minded activities like writing in an journal, meditating and yoga. The book also claim that "if you are willing too look like a fool for the sake of growing, you will eventually find that you can master coldness in friendship". All this smells very IPower to me, don't you agree ;)
I didn't make a thread. I made a blog post. Now are you telling me that quoting a moderator's rational for deleting a blog post is against the site rules? I didn't criticize it, I didn't make an analysis of it. And it most certainly was not a troll. The content of the video I linked, and that I shot and made, was a short film about emptiness and consumption and the gulf it creates between human beings. Shiznit found it insignificant. I found it significant that he chose to censor it.
Word! Whatever he/you guys need! I'm going to get my "Pwning Life" fix vicariously through the I-Power community for now. :) I too am working on something that I think is more worthy of my focus than building up the Pwning Life community/website/app/book/... ;)
HI Reese i posted a discussion on here if you have time i' would be happy if you took a look. thanks..if you like bring it up with those friends of yours...i realy want to see...is it fear or compassion...it's applicable to every aspect of human experience ...i don't think i stated it very well but..it's the best i could do under the circumstances.thanks enjoy the moment. Ohh and I haven't seen one single scientific argument against, a schwarzschild-proton being a black-whole.
And the Merkaba-figure combined with a cuboctahedron being the structure of the vacuum, makes tonnes of sense in my opinion.
About the esoteric stuff he is talking about: Interesting phenomena. Look at Keplers "Weltharmonik" which is full of mysticism but still, we calculate our satellites after the principles he figured out.
Genius & Mysticism often go hand in hand because geniuses often realize that there is not only the external world, but also an internal on where great(or the greatest) things are possible to discover.
I just noticed the Nympheanity suspension, and I know that had to be a tough decision for you because some people might think it was like you couldn't handle the criticism - but really, we all know better than that. I didn't mind it that he said bad things about me, and I think I even brought some of it upon myself because of the failed troll attempt on Vika. But anyways, I do think that his thread continued long enough and that pretty much every criticism that anybody could come up with was effectively voiced in it, so closing it was a good call. All that tension, negativity and drama was getting on my nerves; and Nymph was loving every second of it. It was like he finally achieved the spotlight of stardom or something and was milking every second of it. Hell, 1/2 of the 140+ comments in the damned thing were his own; and by Sunday I was thinking out loud to people, "Why is this fucker still coming here? Didn't he say he was leaving?" LOL
Much love, man! and I'm glad you can make the tough calls like this.
And pass that sentiment on to the rest of the crew for me. Rye's recent vlog made me realize that you guys don't get enough appreciation for all of your efforts in making I-Power such an awesome web site.
"Interesting points. I just want to clarify that I didn't mean that society gets all the blame in these scenarios. In my opinion, in some of these cases, there is a shared blame. Maybe referring to society as a whole was too much of a…"
Many institutions we take for granted are designed from a basis of mistrust. Skip school too often? Go to jail. Run that red light, even when nobody is around for blocks? Ticket.
