A profound perspective:
Although that $30 Billion estimate is several years old and the actual cost today is estimated {on the high end} to be around $200 Billion, that is still less than 1/3 of what the U.S. alone spends on "Defense" -- so the fact remains that world hunger COULD be eliminated if we all really wanted to do it. There is no "shortage" of food. We have enough resources. The only REAL challenges regard distribution, and our willingness to change the way we think.
