New model for the mind. Apparently we're not on and off switches, who would have guessed?

As a higher-functioning audience member with a Traumatic Brain Injury some years ago, the video certainly fits within the models of cognitive science I have since been exposed to, and I was able to understand the part I viewed. Delving into existentialism, and spiritual growth, the video is definitely worth at the very least a quick view for exposure. Although I am leery about this turning into some marketing gimmick, there is a solid discussion of Neural Science, and I look forward to watching more.

To anyone being overly critical and calling this a "failure";

You're missing the point. The point is to spark debate, interest, etc. There's no reason to get worked up over this just because it's all theory right now. That is the point; making bold claims/statements is the beginning of progress.

I agree with Dinitri. There are so many questions that are unanswered, and may never be answered. Just as the Laws of Physics says for every action there's a reaction, then what called this "reaction" that we call "life" and all the matter around it? In the "Big Bang" theory, "Who" lit the fuse? Was it by chance, or was it a "Deity"? No one knows for sure. That is one of man's greatest quests, to find out where and how he became...

So when, when I can see the pdf or other text version of this research? Than it will be a lot easier for me to understand and believe some suspicious statements.

Nathaniel Mortazavi replied to Lore's discussion Condemning others to validate ourselves.
"Absolutely, I completely agree. The only way to solve the problem is to eliminate the cause. Exactly, the shooter gains worldwide fame over night. Why would a resentful, friendless, lonely, insane young man who wanted to leave an impression on the…"

Nathaniel Mortazavi replied to Lore's discussion Condemning others to validate ourselves.
"I agree with the principle to an extent. However, in the case of school shooters, I don't think it can be justified. Same with rape. There's definitely a line, but like you said, those are the most extreme cases. On the topic of mass…"
