Seems like some companies supporting SOPA are backing off... If it isn't a hollow gesture, that kinda awesome.

Hey guys,

It is true that Mike Mozart is a goofy sounding entertainer who is usually found making base innuendo jokes about Disney toys.

What Mike Mozart has uncovered in his perhaps aggressively litigious attitude though, is truly amazing when considered from a macro perspective.

Yet another bill to increase censorship and restrict freedoms on the internet, SOPA, like the Internet Kill Switch before it, has shown the medium-range agenda of people acting together to induce and exploit the regular internet user, with dangerous prospects for all our freedom of speech and ability to access information.

The contents of his findings must be considered in the context of the real deteriorating situation in America, which includes ongoing inflation by the Federal Reserve's money printing. The fact that 40+ million people can't even feed themselves and are on food stamps. The fact that millions are having their properties repossessed by Goldman Sachs and others instrumental in the sub-prime mortgage crisis (purposely lending to those whom they knew could never pay it back). The fact that numerous FEMA camps have been built under the NSA's watch, which is frightening if you know what the GULAGs were all about... Anyone observing would easily be forgiven for mistaking America as heading towards Communist-style rule right now.

Stepping back to consider the big picture, the evidence stacks up like this:

1) Corporate media introduced, distributed and actively promoted mp3 file sharing for over a decade, creating an atmosphere that file sharing is desirable and socially acceptable.

2) Kazaa, BitTorrent, Limewire, and other file sharing software were downloaded by hundreds of millions of regular internet users from Corporate media sites including Cnet.com, download.com and Zdnet.com, all three are owned by CBS Viacom which is run by Sumner Redstone (Jewish) and Leslie Moonves (Jewish).

3) Corporate media having purposely promoted mp3 file sharing and freely made available the software, simultaneously sues individuals for file sharing, including attempting to drag citizens from Europe (UK) in to American jails for copyright infringement. (The true face of globalism).

4) Having purposely unleashed the unstoppable popularity of free file sharing, the same corporate media then unashamedly facilitate the wholesale piracy of its own products by releasing DRM hacking tools again on the Jewish owned CBS Viacom download sites.

5) Next after facilitating and promoting widespread file sharing piracy themselves, the same corporate media swamp lobbyists and politicians in hundreds of millions of dirty money to complete their medium-range agenda and pass laws to restrict, control and shut down the free internet as we know it.

Summary:

Problem – Corporate media introduces, facilitates, promotes and encourages widespread illegal file sharing.

Reaction – People eagerly download free files illegally, in the atmosphere of permissibility and social acceptability fostered by the same corporate media.

Solution – Corporate media gasp in feigned surprise “Look at all this piracy!” We must censor the internet and install heavy Communist controls and restrictions like we do in China!

Guaranteed; they will be back for more assaults to complete the same agenda via another tactic.  They never give up until they get what they want!

TotalBiscuit's opinion on this video and how the SOPA issue, for those who are lazy to read the fb post:

I'm very intrigued by the information brought forth in this video and it enlightened me on how far these companies are taking it but I also agree with TotalBiscuit, I myself do believe that it is important to not get sidetracked and focus on secondary issues.

I thought TotalBiscuit made some valid points and he's also a friend of ours so I felt like quoting his take on it.

Regardless of the rather obnoxious nature in which this fellow expresses his opinion, which may very well put off many and makes the cause look far more wingnut than it needs to be, the real point is that it muddles the message. The message should be loud and clear

Clearly, TotalBiscuit feels offended to not have included this in his video.

I think he didn't address this because he just didn't thought of it at the time. He never linked 1 and 2 together.

TotalBiscuit never handled the world/the internet all that well. He's easy to troll. (He doesn't focus on the good people, but the bad.) He's fairly correct and he says what he thinks, but a little too much in the negative and with his emotions. (Towards the other youtuber. Etc.) He finds his meaning important and he publicly ridicules people (in general) who do or think otherwise. See his post. He continuously tries to convince people he knew and that everybody already knew this information about piracy profiting companies. No not everybody knew.

To make something popular, there has to be sensation. Else nobody will tell the story to others, only if they really care.

Honestly, I never cared that much about SOPA. Not even after watching TotalBiscuits video after 5min. I just turned it off.

He's depressing and slow paste.

21 minutes vs 14 minutes is the opposite of keeping it simple.

This video did made me care. Because I dislike these billion dollar companies for tricking people.

Reese, why do you actually care what Totalbiscuit thinks? It's quite irrelevant. Both have the same goal, declining the bill. It's not a competition.

TotalBiscuit says the truth, that we are actually fighting the government.

But is that the mentality we want people to have? To fight and rebel like in Egypt (etc)? I think not.

Wanna immediately add some nuance to this, Totalbiscuit posted the following about the video on Facebook:

Because people keep sending me this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJIuYgIvKsc I feel the need to tell people why I don't think it's a particularly good speech on the matter. Now the guy in question has done his research and brings up valid points. Yes, without question, there is hypocrisy in the industry when it comes to piracy, however this is not news nor is it the ace in the hole we've been looking for to bring these companies to their news. Big corporations are hypocritical you say? Surely not! Hypocrisy isn't a "gotcha" for them, it's a state of being, it is the very air they breath. While acting rather smugly, the maker of the video has completely missed what's really important, informing people WHY this bill is bad. Catching companies out is not the way to stop this bill, education for the masses is. Yes, we get it, these companies profited from piracy. This is not a revelation, this has been known for a long time. This isn't going to convince a politician any more than convincing a pig that rolls in muck everyday that this particular brand of muck is disgusting. This kind of shady nonsense happens ALL THE TIME in American politics (it's not exclusive to America but America does have the largest lobbyist culture and the most money in it's politics of any country in the world). What matters is not what these companies have done in the past but what they will do if this bill passes. The consequences of this bill are dire. This is not about playing "spot the conspiracy", it's about the future of the internet and freedom of information. Regardless of the rather obnoxious nature in which this fellow expresses his opinion, which may very well put off many and makes the cause look far more wingnut than it needs to be, the real point is that it muddles the message. The message should be loud and clear, SOPA is bad because of A B and C. D E and F will happen if SOPA passes which prevents G H and I. It does not need to be any more complicated than that and the more complex the issue gets, the less people will actually care about it.

Stay on message, focus on what this bill actually does, not what the companies supporting it have done. These companies are incapable of embarrassment and discrediting them by saying "oh, but they did naughty things too!" is not a strong argument. SOPA is bad because it has the potential to cripple future innovation, strangle existing channels of freedom of expression, severely damage the competitive marketplace and gives sweeping powers to people who absolutely cannot be trusted with them, to censor and destroy for the benefit of their shareholders.

As many smart people have said. K.I.S.S. - Keep It Simple Stupid.

Being right

In a sense I want to blow up the words “right” and “wrong”.  I want to banish them from my vocabulary.More specifically I do not ever wish to BE right. And I do not ever want to say to someone else “you are WRONG”. What is the purpose of being or proving oneself to be, right? And what is the purpose of proving someone else is wrong?Apart from some sort of ego based sense of satisfaction what is the purpose of these things? Can anyone give me an answer to this question? If someone says something…See More
