Scientific Research & Self-Development Activism
A few people mailed/tweeted this one at me and while it's kinda basic and silly, I thought I'd post it exactly because it is kinda basic and silly. These kinds of simple things can make a difference and sometimes we think too deeply and conceptualize too much about self-development.
Cheerz!

Many people couldn't deal with me being sad, so they cut me out or are hard to stay in contact with. I did had some fun during those times when my cousins came over (2 days in the week). That got me through my depression. But finding the right therapist did the job. It took me 2 years. He's black, kind of a weirdo but still a normal guy, used to be a gamer, had a hard time, studied lots of stuff, even hypnoses. He was the first person to understand me. So I continued talking.
Comment by SparTom007 - Tom on December 28, 2011 at 3:47am when he talks about relationships I still don't understand. Does family count or they an exception? If family are constantly negative towards and about you, don't add anything positive to your life and if anything impede your development and journey through life, should you just try to get them our of your life? Or is there some sort of special rule because whenever I talk about it with friends it's the only subject where people will say "yeah but it's family, you can't just break ties with them". I sometimes feel like I was adopted (I know I wasn't though and sometimes wish I had been).
Comment by Bernhard on December 23, 2011 at 2:46pm That video kept me positive while waiting in the waitingqueue of SWTOR, lol. Really great advice there! I already tried the "thanks instead of sorry" thing, and it's just awesome :D
Comment by Focking Original on December 23, 2011 at 11:15am I actually saw this video the 21st. (I'm subscribed to day9, but lost my interest in playing SC2 atm)
I started used this method of his: Not saying sorry all the time and instead saying "Thanks for your understanding." does make things more positive.
Basic is how I like it. Because nobody ever thought me the basics. And you can show this to almost everyone.
Comment by Marko Bilić on December 23, 2011 at 1:04am day 9 is fucking awesome! he's a really great guy and even recently made to the forbes "top 30 under 30" entertainment list. A lot of people watch him daily, and I'm glad he's telling people the right things :D
