Comment by Oliver Williams on December 20, 2011 at 2:11am Vlad- the point of the video is not to say there are no supernatural happenstances, but to merely explain what open mindedness and close mindedness really are. Just cause uncertainty cant be explained doesn't mean it is not true either, that is a fools bet, BUT you should never push something that CANT be explained on someone else, and just assume your right because it makes sense to you.

Comment by Vlad Yakovlyev on September 2, 2011 at 4:03am This is a really good video and it got me thinking. But is it really wrong to assume supernaturality? For example, I believe as it is right now, it is very possible the there is a supernatural force. I'm going to keep on topic here. But the fact that I believe it is supernatural doesn't make me closed minded. I'm not going to wait a long time until evidence shows up, and I'm going to use currently-found logic, and understanding to decide whether or not to believe in the supernatural. For example, scientists say that much of Darwin's theories, although the basis for it, actually contradict modern evolutionary studies. If one still assumes that all of Darwin's theories are correct, then that is closed mindedness. But suppose modern science has not found contradicting evidence, do we then just dismiss Darwin's theories until it does? Of course not. Anyways, that's all I have for it for now..

Comment by David Huntington on August 27, 2011 at 9:59pm Good video. However, I feel that it's best to be more on the lenient side when it comes to requiring factual evidence. Almost all things exist somewhere on a spectrum. Rather than determining "this is true" and "this is false" I believe it is best to say "this much is true, this much is uncertain, and this much is highly unlikely."
