ShareCraft | Gamers Saving The Real World

My first documentary style video so be gentle :P

Dammit the more I watch it, the more I hate it and think it sucks :\

Give me some positive criticism too if possible xD I would like to do something like this again in future if I think it's worth doing

@Tom

Not sure if it's something I need to watch all of. I got the general idea of it. If I was someone who contributed then I would have found out more info :)

@Sorlaize no problem :) I'm gonna focus on making shorter versions of films in future but with this there was no point cos I could never do anything better than Reese's finale video

@Tom

I guess if someone was centrally involved in a project then they would know how best to summarize the events in a video. Video production and visual communication, though, is a skill like any other. You can be great at it given enough quality time / effort.

One way to get better at digital / visual stuff generally is studying / learning by example. Particularly things like news programmes and documentaries.. they research so much information and break it down really well. That efficient process, is the primary value of it. Sure, sometimes there's great HD flyovers of mountains in there too, but most of the value is that you're learning something about nature or history or whatever, and it's packaged well.

Also there's other lessons I've learned so far along the way of creative stuff generally.

What did you want from this project? And how can you get there?

(..something I should go and do myself now, huh.)

@Sorlaize

The point of this video was just to inform and inspire people to do charity work and show people that it's possible to do it through gaming and to help get rid of the negative stereotype against gamers that mainstream media propogates
