Comment by Matti Mansala on July 31, 2012 at 9:19pm I'm speechless... All i can say is that this is amazing!
Reese can I sent u an email and u read it? if u like and can. Its about this theory, the old one, and one thing I think about, and I want to ask your opinion.
Comment by aleko on July 31, 2012 at 9:47pm i liked the NOVA feel to it. :) good work.
Comment by Daniel Cherry on July 31, 2012 at 10:06pm If i went the right direction could i go forward in time? I have seen most or all of this on PBS nova show and I personally (not to down Ipower) do not like these videos. You sound like a robot talking. You ok there?I know working with numbers has driven many to insanity.Like Einstein many of the really famous smart people artists etc are doomed to mental problems.Like myself.I liked the original idea of Ipower.and some humor at times. And o yea, that one girls boobies lol.Shes too cute.
Comment by DAN on July 31, 2012 at 10:16pm Propagating biocentrism? srly?
Apart from that: Rly beautyfull, amazing pictures and the way Reese is speaking is extremely clear. Thumps Up! This is professional! and it makes me happy that there is no more AToE and no crazy equations (do I spot some math training there at 2:35? :D).
Nevertheless I think that for a better understanding it would be helpfull if it would be explained how "short" such a quantized state of conciousness is. Since by now with this you have just defined that the brain works in a discrete manner. O_O
Comment by DAN on July 31, 2012 at 10:20pm Oh; and I just saw the link to Frederik Van Der Veken. What is that, lol XD??
Comment by Dries Craenen on July 31, 2012 at 11:43pm Can someone please explain to me the last part a little more? The part where he said an afterlife is inevitable. Interesting video, and visually beautiful. Good job!
Comment by Marco David Torres Pompa on August 1, 2012 at 3:25am Have you read about Dr. Wolf Singer on free will? By the way the video it's amazing. :)
I also got puzzled about the last part where Athene says that an after life is inevitable...
Comment by Natasha on August 1, 2012 at 4:18am I suggest you take a look at this debunking of biocentrism: http://scienceblogs.com/insolence/2010/06/15/dr-lanza-and-biocentri...
I wish people would stop using quantum physics as the 21st century religion.
Comment by Reese Leysen on August 1, 2012 at 4:50am I agree and find the ideas like those of Chopra and even some of Lanza's pretty ridiculous. There's a difference between quantum mysticism and basic assumptions that automatically and logically follow from current widely accepted theories of quantum mechanics though. Thought experiments such as quantum suicide and immortality are considered pretty relevant and don't fall into the quantum mumbo-jumbo category at all.
I also agree with most of the article you linked (Lanza's 'time rebooting' idea is indeed silly), though it certainly does not debunk anything. It mainly just criticizes Lanza for using the anthropic principle.
